Re: Will Buzz ever go commercial/get updated?

Earlier this year I finally took the plunge and bought Ableton 9 - I'd been tracking since '92-ish so it was quite the change ! Bloody love Buzz though, keep going back to the thing and wishing I could somehow merge the workflow of both DAWs together. I'm just so much quicker knocking together some...

Re: Windows 7 and a long story.

Have you tried using WASAPI drivers instead of ASIO? WASAPI always works well for me but ASIO seems to be buggy as hell on my setup.

It's just 2-3 detuned sine osc... I can't give you an example as I'm at work right now but I'll try to take a look tonight for you.

Re: Machine that does old style timestretching

You can do it simply with a tracker using the sample offset effect. i.e. using Matilde as example on every row trigger the sample for as long as you want the sample to drag on then interpolate the argument... 00 = start, 80 = middle, and FF = end. C-4 01 .. 09 00 C-4 01 .. 09 00 C-4 01 .. 09 01 C-4 ...

Re: Would you pay for commercial Buzz?

There was an idea on the irc channel a while ago to make a webpage with all the various donate buttons of different buzz devs and maybe a list of what they were working on. Some of us would prefer you donate through buying records or sending beer, but those details could replace the donate button. ...

Re: Would you pay for commercial Buzz?

Hoooo! How much for a commercial version – IF OSKARI WOULD WORK MORE ON IT. Excuse me, but to put it mildly, what a strange view on oskaris work. Besides of the reasonable doubts about "Your averege user", it is: 1. Disrespectful to the whole idea and work, especially to contributers like...

Re: Would you pay for commercial Buzz?

I would buy it if it was polished up a bit more and included a few more features like native audio tracks + visual parameter automation (splines etc.). For that I think I'd pay say USD$300.

The modular machine view would be a bit of a point of difference to other DAW's.

Yeah I'm with mute here, you'll get better quality results if you pre process it in a stand alone program like Audition.

Re: Changing samplerate on WASAPI driver

Try this:

-Right click on the speaker/volume control icon in the windows system tray.
-Select playback devices
-Double click on your soundcard output
-Click on the advanced tab
-Change default format to 24/16 bit 44100khz

Restart buzz and change settings again within buzz and see if that sticks.
