I'd say for a buzzer, the octatrack is easy to learn and a lot of fun since we're used to complex and flexible setups.
watch the vids on youtube to get a better impression.

Re: A Stranger To Ourselves - chillout
for stretchless pitch Change antonio's Bandwurm is excellent. but I'm really talking about Speed Change here - any clue (apart from grain synths - low Quality results)

Re: A Stranger To Ourselves - chillout
well I was thinking of the case when you want to speed up the sample to match with your preferred tempo...
(j'aimerais savoir si il ya un truc pour buzz qui permet de changer la vitesse du sample sans changer son pitch...)

PeerScale: Velocity and Record?
Hi all I use peerscale all the time. It gives me great Inspiration for new melodies and fragments. I miss two functions: 1) to be able to record the notes played (e.g. PS controls Qsamo, I would like to record the notes in Qsamo to 'fix' it) 2) It would be nice to have a velocity Parameter as well -...

MIDI control for buzzmachines?
Hi all There are a number of fantastic buzz machines with great sounds. Unfortunately, their midi Setup / behaviour is tricky. Like e.g. the 4fm synth by madbrain. I love to randomize it. I can only play it via midi through a tool like IX split, peerchord, etc. If I want to modulate the sounds while...

Re: Small req: sortable list in new sequencer
haha lovely done thank you!!!
what about ctrl g horizontal?
like add track - then use some sort of pxp menu, select parameter - results in a track/pattern only for one specific parameter. would need to be scalable, though.
just like in many other daws. is that in any way feasible? thx

Re: Small req: sortable list in new sequencer
noob question (forgive me): how can I switch to the new sequencer mode?
any plans to come up with a ctrl+g style horizontal track thing?

Tablet as Midi Controller
Dear all
There seem to be a number of apps which can turn a tablet computer (like iPad) into a flexible midi controller. The tablet can then often be connected to the PC through wifi or bluetooth.
Does anyone use such a setup? What is better - Apple or Android or Windows? Any experience? Thanks

love it - the fat low end, the pulsating driving groove, the bright piano, the nicely reverbed voice..

Re: iPhone app for wave recording & slicing & sending
yeah, I've heard of These. The Point is - I'd love to see an app that slices automatically...
Re: yellofier
yeah that was my reaction, too! and I'm now constantly having fun with it.

iPhone app for wave recording & slicing & sending
Hi all
I just thought how useful it would be to have an iphone app that allows you to record noises, automatically slices them to individual waves and sends them to your mail account. so when you get home you can only download your new samples and play with them
do you know of such an app?
