Re: Pattern XP mod
The scroll bar problem is fixed, I'm really liking the new track buttons too, I was wrong about them being overkill they are indeed quite useful. Pattern XP is absolutely perfect now!!

Re: Pattern XP mod
It does indeed jump to the first row when using ctrl+g or ctrl+z which is a bit annoying, was it not that way before though? I honestly can't remember.

Re: Pattern XP mod
It's working perfectly here, thank you so much!!!!!
Re: videosync
It just says "Buzz has stopped working" and crashes, it happens whenever I click the open video window button, even if I haven't chosen a video file yet.

Re: Patterns over 68 ("`"symbol) in the sequence editor (149
Good question, I just tried and couldn't figure it out either. I don't think I've ever used more than 50 patterns per generator.

Qsamo filter as an effect?
I was just thinking Qsamo has a really nice sounding filter, it would be pretty cool to have it available as an effect.

Re: whats next for buzz?
In my opinion the only things that really need finished are the piano roll, new ctrl+q pattern editor, and the wavetable sample editor/envelopes, besides that I think Buzz is complete.

Re: Pattern XP mod
Interesting idea, but that seems like a bit of overkill. Wouldn't that require buttons above every track in a pattern? I can't imagine how that would work without looking terrible and taking up screen real estate.mute wrote:clear/copy/paste buttons on each track ]

About interpolation, I suppose that using other curves is not too difficult.
Thanks again for this amazing mod Chahur, what you've done so far is the best update to Buzz in years!

Re: Pattern XP mod
Yes, using shrink/expand would basically halve or double the pattern length and spaces between any notes. A pattern length of 32 lines would become 16 lines when shrinked, and 64 lines when expanded. 16th notes would become 32nd notes when shrinking, 8th notes when expanding.
Re: videosync
I edited the XML file as suggested, now the path is shown in the grey box, but after loading a video clip it still crashes whenever I click to open the video window. Switching the output modules doesn't seem to help either. :? edit: Could this have anything to do with me using an older version of VL...

I also get all sorts of errors when trying anything other than the default theme.
Re: videosync
I'm using Windows Vista... also when I load a video and click to open the video window, Buzz immediately crashes.

Re: Pattern XP mod
I'm really liking this mod so far, any chance for a "shrink/expand pattern" similar to the advanced pattern editor in Renoise?
Re: videosync
For some reason it's not letting me choose the VLC installation path...the box is greyed out.

Re: Using 'Jeskola Live' machine
If he did it as proof of concept, he certainly succeeded. If it were relatively easy to get this far, it would be a shame not to take it further imo. The same could be said for Buzz itself. It's full of really great ideas and potential, but everything seems only half finished. (piano roll, wavetabl...

Okay well that's strange, the link is still down for me.
"The connection has timed out
The server at ronan.daniel.free.fr is taking too long to respond" is what it keeps saying.
