Re: Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
Don't know if he still sells the license, and then we had to raise enough money. My wrappers should be more stable and more comfortable than the old wrappers from Arguru(i think it was coded by him). They already can be run inside of Buzz through the vst loaders if you want to test. Some of the old...

Re: Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
It should be a matter of raise money enough to buy a license to use the dsp library, isn't it? Oskari used to sell that 20 years ago at an affordable price of... 1200€? 1000? Anyway, it's just something only oskari is able to answer. Oh... And i can remember testing something similar some years ago,...

Buzz is modular, it has an open structure to integrate external drivers, plugins, devices... Polac Drivers are just another module. That's how it is done.

Re: 6 machines you use the most
Just about CPU usage on newer laptops: Cpu energy saving scheme limits the minimum & maximum power status when switched to power or batteries. Just sEt the correct scheme before complaining that your machine is the slowest of the neighborhood. Or simply create a new scheme and call it DAWS where...

Re: How to set up polac asio for best midi performance?
For USB v1 & v2 the faster interface in new OS is the windows one. Of course, Polac drive gives more control over I/O but the most of the drivers have slower response times. The better settings depend on your processor, caches, ram and background usage. Just do a few testings with an overloaded ...

Re: Problems with VSTIs
That.s right, synthedit plugins write a lot of data to disc to operate. Try to run them as admin, right click>Run as Admin or simply edit the shortcut properties and set Run As Admin as default. Shouldn.t had a problem. Win XP runs everything as Admin by default. W7 and upwards needs the admin autho...

Re: Buzz at 192khz?
That problem happens the same way when you try to work at 48k, the workaround is using multiples of 44.1: 88.2, 132.3, 176.4. Most of those 192Hd interfaces support those frequencies.
But in the same way, many machines will fail in frequency sincrnisation because they suppose you use 44k
