kibibu's Stereo Tools would be just the thing - https://buzz.robotplanet.dk/machineinfo.php?id=7833
More specifically 'kibibu left' and 'kibibu right' for isolating the left and right channels respectively

Re: Do mini-keyboards work in Buzz as a MIDI controller?
Rather than being MIDI devices, those controllers are essentially programmable mini-keyboards so (as mridlen says) the buttons (and wheel) would get mapped to the equivalent keyboard shortcut using a keyboard mapping utility supplied with the device (will probably have a download link in the manual)...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 07-Jul-2022)
Superstar :) For clarification Buzz itself doesn't crash (or display any error message) scanning those plugins, it just logs them in the Event Viewer and Reliability Monitor as errors/critical events. Does anything get flagged in Reliability Monitor for you when it scanned those dfx plugins - On my ...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 07-Jul-2022)
@polac : This week I uninstalled my Waves plugins (been planning to for a while but this week's dramas over at waves solidified my choice!) which for some reason seemed to corrupt the PVSTi plugin dat ... So I deleted it and restarted Buzz so it could rebuild the VST database Anyway this gave me a g...

Re: BuzzSetup x64 2022 Edition
Do you have any antivirus installed that has some sort of file/folder guard ? Back when I had Avira Antivir any installer that wrote to my Documents folder would instantly fail (to protect it from ransomware damage) unless I white-listed the installer executable.

Aha, you're exactly right - The 2005 one solved it: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=26347
Buzz is now back pride of place on my old machine all working a-ok. Thanks

Re: Odd Peer Ctrl Problem…
Apologies for the necro: My old/backup laptop had an HD failure a couple of weeks ago so I've bought a new drive and reinstalled everything. I've copied a [fully-working] folder of Buzz from my daily machine, re-ran the installer, installed VC++ 2015 and all seems fine except a couple of the Peer Ma...

Re: Modern Pattern Editor
The HD from my old/backup laptop died the other day so have reinstalled Buzz (copying everything from my main machine Buzz folder, and then running the Buzz installer) For some reason I'm getting the following error on launch: LoadLibrary("C:\Program Files (x86)\Jeskola\Buzz\Gear\Generators\Mod...

Re: Modular synthesis versus Buzz
Don't forget about Blok for the world of modular within Buzz ;) I'd love a stripped down version of Polyend that's just a 'tracker'-style midi controller to control any other DAW - It's has a bit too much for my needs (and as result I can't justify the cost - especially having something similar-ish ...

Re: 32 Bit or 64 Bit Buzz for a specific set up
My personal decision would be stick with the 32 bit build. That way: - Supports all the built in native Buzz machines with no bridging - Supports all your old 32 bit VSTs with no bridging - Seamlessly (in my opinion) bridges the 64 bit VSTs Obviously there's the whole JUCE GUI funkiness at the momen...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 25-Oct-2021)
I don't think it has nesserarily something to do with Windows 11. I killed the VST scanning process ( actually Buzz itself ) from the Task Manager because I thought it took too long for me at that day and that caused the crash. "temporalsounds" had the same problem and that was probably o...

Re: Connection Mixer Console
Changing the Windows scaling isn't an option, I like to be able to read things on the screen. Yeah I honestly can't remember what I did between 2012 and 2015 as Buzz was still my primary DAW back then. You could maybe try some of the scaling compatibility options to see if that helps -https:/...

Re: Connection Mixer Console
Correct guess! Windows scaling is 125% (recommended) and yes, now you mention it the machine name field does exhibit similar behaviour. A fix would be nice but it's not a major problem so don't stress if it's not a trivial job. Looks like I had the same issue back in 2012 (was also running at 125%)...
