Re: "locate machine" feature suggestion
Well I guess it could be useful to some, but I've been using Buzz for 10+ years and have never used more than about 60 machines even on the most complex tracks. It would be nice to have a feature that highlights the wire routing from machine to master when you click on a machine though , sorta like ...

Re: Timeline numbers: Bar
zooming out doesn't change anything though...it still shows that a 1 bar pattern at 16tbp is 4 bars...and a 1 bar pattern at 8tpb as 2 bars, when it should still only be 1 bar. I'm sure you already know a bar at any certain tempo is still the same length, no matter the note resolution...but the way ...

Timeline numbers: Bar
When the timeline numbers are set to bar...shouldn't these numbers change based on the main TPB setting? A pattern of 1 bar at 8TPB is twice as long as a pattern of 1 bar at 4TPB, but the timeline GUI doesn't reflect this. (A 1 bar pattern at 16TPB shows that it's a 4 bar pattern on the timeline etc...

I was using Absynth 4 until last week, it seemed to be working fine as well.

Re: Visualization plugin PoC
Amazing!! Milkdrop is a visualization plugin for winamp that changes to the beat of music. I'd also love to see vector style graphics like what Reaktor does.

Re: OMG UTrk 2 Mtrk 3 and updated Mtrk 2
awesome work! I really hope the version with the note on the left gets updated as well. this is not meant to be compatible with older versions right? so any chance we could get a third set of effects/paramater column? okay maybe I'm asking too much. lol

"save" button right next to "open" button?
Several times I've almost saved unwanted changes to a song while trying to open another project, because the save button is right next to the open button? Is there any way I can move the save button? I'd rather just click on "file" and then hit save (that's how ableton live works to...

Re: sequence editor zoom not keeping focus.
I'm not sure if buzz has it.., but most trackers have an effect command for the master channel that you can use to skip patterns in the sequence. I guess that's not really an ideal solution to your particular problem though.

Re: Hard Disk Recorder and "Eye Candies"
I think it really depends on what machines you are using...it's only when I try using an older machine (like pre 2004) that it has happened for me on the new buzz builds.

sequence editor zoom not keeping focus.
One thing that has really bugged me about the awesome new sequence editor is how it doesn't seem to keep focus on what you're looking at when zooming in and out, most DAW software I've used has the zoom in/out on the horizontal scroll bar itself (hold left button+ mouse up/down) which really helps t...

Re: Hard Disk Recorder and "Eye Candies"
most of the noise burst problems seem to have been fixed with newer versions of buzz..I haven't heard one in over a year. but I usually just stick a limiter on the "master channel" anyway.

Re: Can we draw automations?
this problem does not exist in buzz if you code everything correct. not even for midi if you use midi synced drivers (like pasio). what will happen for simple control changes is that sending a controlchangeimmediate will apply on the "next" subtick. excellent thanks for clearing that up! ...

Re: Can we draw automations?
I'm honestly not sure if this problem exists with the current automation, I've never been able to get a clear answer from a dev and haven't tested buzz too much to find out, I don't like the ctrl+g envelopes so I mainly use absynths built-in envelopes since they have bezier curves..my posts were jus...

Re: Can we draw automations?
samplerate won't be an issue in buzz, you just do it on the subtick. no idea why SOUNDCARD latency should even come into play with automations. maybe midi, Exactly what I've always thought, but ableton has suffered from this problem ever since the beginning. even with people complaining it still ha...

Re: Can we draw automations?
This post in the Ableton forum describes the problem I'm talking about pretty well....and has a few pictures to help illustrate, I'm not the best at explaining these things in text. I could probably do it all manually but it kind defeats the purpose of having any delay compensation at all...and then...

Re: Can we draw automations?
right but I'm talking about the drawn automation itself being delay compensated...not the output of the machines. would that still work? I understand Buzz and other music programs have machine delay compensation, but some don't also take into account the drawn automation when fixing the latency...so...

Re: Utrk with outs - buggy?
Well I guess it doesn't really have that many other problems besides the bugs with 24-bit samples...I'm just always worried that as Buzz keeps getting updated it will eventually not work correctly at all. Is Fuzzpillz still around anymore?

Re: Utrk with outs - buggy?
It's a shame Utrk has so many problems, because it's probably the most powerful drum machine ever created. And I've used everything from max, reaktor, renoise, ableton, Kontakt/Battery etc... still nothing beats it. I really hope the devs make sure it keeps working with all future versions of Buzz.
