Re: Breakcore Track and Crazy Dice Game (Free)

Nice Amens and melody! The metallic washy synths are awesome too. It all comes together nicely around 1:30. And the ending makes me think of a hacked, crashed brain. I'm glad someone else is abusing breaks with Buzz

Re: PatternXP RE

One thing I've noticed about it: the Pattern name/number shown above 'Follow Play Position' doesn't update to current playing pattern; it stays on the name of the first played pattern. I caught this in a video: https://streamable.com/hrq18t Is it possible to make it change to show the name of the c...

Re: Control 2 Polac VSTs with one track?

I think a PyBuzz script could do this. I forget the details, but if you have a Polac MIDI tracker (?) and put your note and control commands into it, the OnMidiNote and OnMidiControlChange should pick up the events. You can then target other VSTs and send this data to them. I can look closer at this...

Re: IX Snapshot - Updated Feb 6th 2022

I loooove the way this handles VST snapshots. No dicking around assigning parameters to Polac VST tracks; it just works! How cool is that? *

Re: IX Snapshot - Updated 23rd Oct 2021

Thanks IXix! As much as I love PeerState, it does crash on me regularly, and your machine is very welcome and timely :D The only thing keeping me with PeerState is the inertia parameter for morphing between states. This produces interesting results, and is also a nice way to do parameter slides (e.g...

Re: Modern Sequence Editor

This is awesome wde! I have made the jump from the old sequence editor to the new. This is a pleasure to use! It's especially cool to have the sequence on one screen and patterns/machines on the other - much smoother workflow than before :D A minor niggle - I've found that MSE steals focus from time...

Re: Connection Mixer Console

Thanks wde - another awesome machine! I have some questions . . . What are P1, P2, P3, P4? I have a chain that goes Fuzzpilz UnwieldyTracker -> (7 serial effects) -> Master The only position in the chain where 'Solo' works in Connection Mixer Console is at the start, between Fuzzpilz Unwield...

Re: Modern Sequence Editor

Quick and dirty solution is to fallback to default theme if something goes wrong. Seems to work. 'Default Glass' and 'iLKke pixelplast (new)' also give the following error, though it happens when you double-click on any machine, so it's not specific to ModernSeq: Yeah, I think these themes have som...

Re: Modern Sequence Editor

I did some testing with the included themes in a fresh installation of 32-bit Buzz from here and Modern Sequence Editor , on a different computer. I found that themes which have a Themes\<theme name>\Sequence Editor\SequenceEditor.xaml file work fine. The ones that don't give an error like this: iLK...

I think I found the issue with disappearing text. Updated. Oh wow, what an awesome tool, thank you WDE! I am going to have some fun with this  I'm getting a few glitches though. Like IXix, I have trouble if I don't use theme <default>, though the error message is different: Very strange. Sor...

Re: EasyRec

Love the machine. Can I make a feature request? Make WAV Table Slot a parameter so that you can program WAV Table Slot Number selections in the Pattern Editor? That way you could switch Slot Numbers on the fly in a little less cumbersome way than the drop-down menu. Keep up the great work, WDE! 8-)...

Re: A working wavetable recorder?

Does the pvst wavetable recorder work for you? Don't know what the other wavetable recorders do exactly. Does anyone know how to do this? I've loaded up a blank Polac VST 1.1 and have poked around but can't find a record to wavetable option. Be grateful if someone could help me out :) Also, I'd rea...

Re: getting back into buzz

I recently had a spate of using 64-bit Buzz and found that some of my favourite machines didn't work with it. I then went through a phase of tracking down the source code and compiling 64-bit .DLLs as required, which became too labour-intensive. In the end I went back to 32-bit Buzz. My advice would...

Re: .dll not found when in folder?

Sounds like you're missing a dependent .DLL for each of your machines; have you migrated/reinstalled Windows recently? Load up the .DLLs in question in Dependency Walker (http://www.dependencywalker.com/) and see what's missing for each. This generally requires you to track down a particular Visual ...

Re: Compiling Cyanphase JedShivaMeter for 64-bit Buzz?

Thank you so much polac, that's awesome! Dumped it into Buzz64 and it works a treat :) I will take another look at Visual Studio and see if I can get it to work too; forays into Buzz64 may require more source code recompiles. I'll post anything that I manage to recompile in case it's useful to someo...
