Really weird then. I have absolutely no idea why that might be happening, sorry.

Candle wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 1:52 am The original PatchBay versions that come packaged with the latest version all have their slick Machine Skins, but none of the new configurations I've created do.
That is odd as all the config tool does is copy and rename the original files. Are you perhaps using the wrong bit flavour?

It can but it's not fun. I tried for a while and came to the conclusion that mixing bitness isn't worth the hassle. YMMV.

Re: Windows 11 Display Issue

I installed the newer version available from Sourceforge (v.1.6) I get a machine load error: https://i.ibb.co/TpzP23s/Peer-Control-v1-6-Load-Error-Message-417-x-212px-JPEG.jpg That's because you're missing a Microsoft C++ Redistributable package. I built that 1.6 dll and looking at the date on it I...

Re: Windows 11 Display Issue

Scaling is a bit of a nightmare. My Buzz 32 is mostly sensible but I couldn't explain why. My windows scaling is 125% and I don't seem to have any special settings for compatibility. My screen resolution is the same as yours. Some old VST interfaces are unusably tiny (Oatmeal for example) but newer ...

Re: SampleGrid3 BETA 1

Gotcha - thanks ! So is the normal parameter range: 0x00 -> 0xFE, and 0xFF is an unreachable/un-initialised value ? Yes, in this instance. Sometimes it makes more sense to use zero instead, in which case the range is 0x01 to 0xFF. I can't imagine a reason to use any other value but you could if you...

Re: SampleGrid3 BETA 1

Curious how this bit works (if it does ?!). To me this reads as: 'when any of the sliders aren't at maximum value, then they've changed' Yeah, that's normal. Parameters have a "no value", usually 0xFF but it can be something else if you want. The params storage is reset to the null values...

No, I didn't try. That's pretty mind blowing, assuming it actually works. Did you compile it? Certainly looks legit from a quick read through.

Re: SampleGrid3 BETA 1

claude code etc can actually do very nice buzz machines if you tell them so. give source code of existing buzz machines for reference. for example, give it this: https://jeskola.net/buzz/beta/files/dev/Limiter/Limiter.h and MachineInterface.h and ask it to make another machine based on it. works qu...

Re: SampleGrid3 BETA 1

Are the changes George applied to Matilde tracker relevant to SampleGrid and possible there too? Perhaps it was written with better sample handling from the start? https://forums.jeskola.net/viewtopic.php?p=17783 I don't know tbh. The sample handling code in SGrid is a mystery to me. All I ever did...

I thought I had the original downloads for these but apparently not, so zipped from my gear folders

Capsicum (Generator)
Il Lupo Stanco (Effect)
Dog's Best Friend (Generator)

Dog's Best Friend isn't meant to be heard, it's purely for feeding a signal into Il Lupo Stanco. Read the help file.

Don't think it's possible in Buzz since Generators don't have inputs. ReBuzz could potentially implement it but I have no idea how easy or difficult that might be.
