Re: Good way to do wireless connections?
I've just tried LD's auxsend & auxreturn and there didn't seem to be any issue with the connection and sent audio though the 'bridge' fine. If you don't have them already: Here's auxsend - https://buzz.robotplanet.dk/machineinfo.php?id=7848 Here's auxreturn - https://forums.jeskola.net/viewtopic...

Re: Modern Sequence Editor
Think something might've happened with the keyboard focus in this new build. If you cycle through the different views (F2 -> F3 -> F4) when you land on Sequence View (F4) you can't then go back to Machine View or Pattern View using the F-keys unless you click away (using the mouse) from Sequence Vie...

Re: DSP56300 synth VST
Aye been watching the progress of this for a while now - Be interesting to see what other devices they manage to emulate. The problem of the menus vanishing is another examples of JUCE (and possibly other) created VST/i not playing nice with Polac ( https://forums.jeskola.net/viewtopic.php?t=2658 ) ...

Re: Where can I find the newest Index for machines?
~Great stuff - Thank you
Ps. What's the best way to tweak indexes - old fashioned Notepad/text editor, or is there a (recent-ish) Buzz Machine index utility that works better than manually editing ?

Re: PatternXP RE
A few of the files in that updated source (PatternXP.vcxproj, stdafx.h, MachinePattern.h ) look like they were pointing to files two folders up from the main source code folder (..\..\Buzz) rather than just the one (..\Buzz) This should build for you without any project tweaking (hopefully!) or enti...

Re: PatternXP RE
Ah OK, you're nearly there - As I say you need to download the original Pattern XP source from here: https://github.com/chahur/Buzz-PatternXP (click the green 'code' button and then 'download .zip') Once unzipped move the Buzz-PatternXP-master folder (it might well be within yet another 'Buzz-Patter...

Go to Tools -> Get Tools and Features -> Individual Components Then scroll allllll the way to the bottom to see what Windows 10 SDK you do have installed (I have 10.0.19041.0) and then choose that in the drop down in the properties page (the second image in your post) (n.b. you'll also need 'C++ MFC...

History of trackers (feat Buzz)
You may have already seen this (100k views in just one day is quite impressive for such a niche topic) but a superb 40 minute history of trackers, from C64 through to Amiga and PC. Buzz makes a fleeting appearance towards the end - the machine view layout looked like it came from quite a solid user,...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 25-Oct-2021)
Never knew about the application until last year when I got a new (and rather troublesome to initially diagnose the fault) laptop, and got tech support to aid my repair via this tool - but since have got rather 'obsessed' with Window's built in app Reliability Monitor (more specifically getting a ru...

Re: No new members will impact future of buzz
ok i enabled registrations but someone has to deal with the spammers if they come back Not sure which version of phpbb this place is running but I've found recaptcha v3 (built in support on phpbb v3.3.x onward I believe) is managing to automatically kick out an average of 100 spam registrations per...

Re: Where can I find the newest Index for machines?
*super necro bump* Curious to know if there are any index's that are still getting updated. Comparing my current index.txt from the ones available I think I'm using the 'wizenwet' index from 2006 as it seemed the most logical in its categorisation for my workflow. So given the date you can imagine I...

Re: fsex300.ttf
You'll need to load up a 'blank' version of Polac VSTi 1.1 in machine view. Then Right click -> Preferences -> Global 2 and in the bottom right click Clean Up and on the top right click Full Rescan. If Buzz breaks again on load you'll know that it's one of your VSTs that causing it (as mentioned ear...

Re: fsex300.ttf
I have kontakt where a piano patch is 8 gig that's the only reason. I usually use 32 but if i want to use kontakt i have to use 64. It seems to be coming from buzz engine 32 is hanging it doesn't mention a plugin. The Polac's x64 -> 32bit bridge can definitely handle large Kontakt libraries - Just ...

Re: fsex300.ttf
Yeah Microsoft are still releasing Process Monitor updates so you can use that to see where your process is stalling/failing - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon (it's a portable app that doesn't need installing.) When you run it go to Filter ->Filter ... and on the drop...

Re: fsex300.ttf
fsex300.ttf is a variant of the fixedsys font (filename is short for 'Fixedsys Excelsior v3.00') Looking at the install time on my machine it syncs up when I first installed Buzz x86 on here. I think it's the default font used in Pattern View (and maybe sequence view ?) so if it's not available then...

Right click on the '0' that appears halfway between the machine and the machine cable 'arrow': https://ilovecubus.co.uk/pete/polac.jpg Depending on the audio interface you may wish to switch from stereo inputs to mono inputs by right clicking on Polac Audio In and going down to Attributes -> Mono/S...
