Re: How to control Buzz with MIDIcontroller? (Novation noctu
I'd say, forget the built-in MIDI mapping and go with PeerCtrl instead, much more flexible and you don't need to waste time setting up all the controls you need. Just remember to use only one PeerCtrl per song or things very probably will get borked. You need to turn off Automap mode on the Nocturn ...

Re: Fuzzpilz and "rare" machines.
Here are 2 zips with all Fuzzpilz machines in my installation. Some obscure ones and some that are on Buzzmachines.
Fuzzpilz Effects
Fuzzpilz Generators
edit: not sure if all of them are up to date.

Isn't that basically the Wander waveform?IXix wrote:It works as expected here. Do you have a problem? Having tested it though I'm now thinking about adding some (optional of course) smoothing to the random shape. Hmmm...tinga wrote:i'm not sure for compatibility for random wave shape

I was just about to ask if PeerLFO could be updated with subtick timing. Seems unlikely :/

M4w. Can be a bit wonky at times but treat it good and it makes some very odd sounds :)

Re: Wanted: Jeskola AM 3000
IIRC it's one of the machines built into the old buzz.exe, so you won't find a .dll anywhere.

Re: Record mode before pattern
On a side note (no pun intended :), notes don't get recorded into Buzz gens at all. You can play, but not record. Load a Buzz gen into PVSTi and both play and rec works.
Using chahur's PXP mod if that matters.

Re: Record mode before pattern
Seems like notes don't get recorded that way, but param tweaks do. Now to find out if it's a Buzz or PVST bug.

Re: Pattern automation / improvisation recording
Of course you don't have to keep adding new tracks for every new param tweak :) Depends how you want to organize things.

Re: Pattern automation / improvisation recording
Param tweaks are always recorded to the pattern(s) in the leftmost track of a machine in the sequencer. So, put your arp on one track, create a new track for the same machine, move it to the left of the arp track, put the empty tweak pattern there and record. You can keep adding tracks, param tweaks...

Re: Pattern XP mod
Nice mod :)
I found a small inconsistency though: Ctrl+I does exponential interpolation and Ctrl+Shift+I normal interpolation (they're the other way around in the help file). Ctrl+R again does randomization, and Ctrl+Shift+R does humanization, for example (as in the help file).

bmw saving bug
The first time you save a bmw file it doesn't include the wavetable samples in the files (as it's supposed to). The next time you save (or save as and overwrite an existing file), the samples are included, unless you save to an entirely new file (then the samples are again not included). Noticed thi...

Re: Novation Bass Station - no sound
Neither helps
Even the activity led on the machine stays off, even if both the keyboard and the MIDI light on the plugin GUI shows that notes are received.

Re: Novation Bass Station - no sound
What does that have to do with this. Im not trying to get sound INTO it, I'm trying to get sound OUT of it. It's a VSTi. I'm playing it via a MIDI keyboard, or entering notes into a pattern. Neither method produces any sound in Buzz.

Novation Bass Station - no sound
Bass Sation isn't outputting any sound in Buzz. I can see its MIDI receive light blinking when playing so it's receiving the notes. Works fine in Reaper so the plugin isn't faulty. And other VSTi:s work fine, automapped or not. Bass Station 2.1 32-bit Latest Polac VST loader Buzz 1498 32-bit Win7 Ul...
