ok, meanwhile I managed to create a workaround with triggered PeerADSR.
Thanks for suggestions, folks, now I've learned a couple of new tricks!

Re: MIDI triggering question: ON\OFF with trigger pedal
I see mt Eno needs midi cc, but my trigger pedals send a midi note. How can I use, for instance, C-2 or any other note to trigger?

Re: MIDI triggering question: ON\OFF with trigger pedal
Other than that, you could also assign a peer machine to do take care of the the wet/dry signal of the fx in question. On a MIDI note on I need a machine to fade one way, on note-off - fade back. I'm guessing Peer ADSR can do the job, but I don't see where to assign a particular MIDI note to trigge...

Re: PVST note off at sequence loop start points
The idea was to stop all active pattern notes if the user changes the song position abruptly in the seq. I'll remove this one again, let's see if it breaks some other things then again  Maybe it can be an option in the Global settings? As it turns out, both variants can be potentially very...

The only hope therefore is for Polac to kindly suggest possible solution.

Re: Sequence editor start loop point causes VST note off!
it could be just a pvst setting, if the global setting 'stop processing on silence' is checked, uncheck it and reload buzz. start with a new project. I've tried this, as well as other pvst settings, multiIO and such, switching them on and off. Doesn't help. (of course, I restarted Buzz each time). ...

Re: Sequence editor start loop point causes VST note off!
ok, tried. the same result: the note off seems to be triggered by the loop start point itself, be it internal loop points, or LiveJump.mute wrote:put a blank pattern there and see what happens

Re: Sequence editor start loop point causes VST note off!
I'm not using the latest buzz build, nor the latest pvst and everything works fine for me. I know it worked with older builds, and obviously, if this strange behaviour persists, I'm gonna have to revert to older builds, but I already grew to like the new features (and the awesome dark theme!) so mu...

Re: Sequence editor start loop point causes VST note off!
Seems jumping to a location where there are no pattern will send a note-off. Never really noticed this, so i don't know if this is new.. this IS new, believe me. It obviously appeared with recent builds. I'm playing all my stuff based on this jump-looping back and forth while some notes keep playin...

PVST note off at sequence loop start points
This is a small glitch (or is it?) that suddenly compromised my whole live setup. :? UPDATE: The tests show this is most probably the Pvst glitch, not Buzz. For instance there is a VSTi that plays an endless note which I don't want to break while I play different other patterns. I use LiveJump to lo...

Re: New Menu and themes
The awesome Simplon III theme stopped working in the new builds, and the new 3.2 version shows the same:
What am I missing?
(And then another screen with errors.)'Failed to create a 'Command' from the text 'I:ToolbarVM.NewFileCommand'.

MIDI triggering question: ON\OFF with trigger pedal
Basically I need binary switching of a certain VST effect ON\OFF by midi trigger pedal.
Can I do this via Pvst? If not, could anyone please advice a machine that will let me do that? What comes to mind is PeerState, but how to use the OFF state of the pedal to trigger another state?

Re: Pattern Clips
If Buzz ever follows this concept, it can truly be a breakthough step. Because NO other daw (except Flash) has proper implementation of the clips\instances approach, even the Bitwig, afaik, has not planned this. Buzz seems like it was meant for this from the start. I guess when Arguru designed Aodix...

Re: Pattern Clips
Yep, it's a very smart workaround, i guess it was first introduced by Macromedia Flash, creating and reusing symbols. There was only one music tracker where it was partially implemented, Aodix. I don't know why you mention Ableton though, I haven't seen there a feature that would create a single cli...

Re: Fullscreen mode
if you want you can make the toolbar (.xaml) resizeable yourself or let it hide automatically when leaving the area. that's more informative. Would you be so kind to expand on that a little? appreciate what you get for free. in this world, 'free' is a very relative thing, cap, never absolute. okay,...

Re: Fullscreen mode
yes, but a simple 'disable toolbar' option is probably much easier to implement than the actual 'auto-hide', don't you think? (if you mean the windows-style smooth sidebar autohide).lantern wrote:Auto-hide would be good for the toolbar.
