Ah..
Well, I think I have it all installed now. Python 2.7, Qt and PyGame.
Not sure how I check if things are working, but the installers did their job without complaints.

Re: Combo Compo
Seems like the problem lies in the fact that everyone has different setups of Buzz and machines.
But what do I know?
Anyway, thanks
...and I'm curious to hear more tracks!

Re: MIDI processing stuff I've been working on.
Let me know how it goes. >>> _ What now? :) Edit: Is there any help to be found on how to actually set this up? PyGame was easy, but qt i don't even know where to start... The readme isn't at all helpful, it just says type "configure.py", type "make", type "make install&quo...

Re: Combo Compo
Well this turned out kind of how I expected, everyone has problems opening templates from others... :) For me, only Xaphoids template worked, so that's what I used. To make matters worse, the bmx got screwed over and I couldn't do any more work on it or record any more loops. So, I guess I'm done :)...

Re: "locate machine" feature suggestion
I sure hope someone updates the code for PeerCtrl...
The assignment window works well, but the value remapping is a bit of a pita.
Sheesh, I wish I could do it myself

Re: "locate machine" feature suggestion
I've never had any problems locating a machine in a complex song.. ever.. What I'd really like is a way to visualize the connections between Peermachines! When you have something like 50 Peermachines, it get's quite tedious to find which machine connects to which :) Edit: I vaguely remember some mac...

Re: Multi-Track Render - (Individual .WAV Tracks/per instrum
There's one discussion here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=112&p=753&hilit=loop+recorder#p753
My preference, is to use Sgorpi's MTW.
It's not a one click multi-track recorder, but then again, how would Buzz know which "tracks" you want to record?

I don't think it matters that much what machines you use, as long as they're considered stable and common..

Re: "Algostep" contest
Yeah, I'm not so sure about this competition anymore. First, it seems it's only for SC.. The source code is way more complex then just a formula to paste in MTAlgo. Second, it's supposed to be dubstep. // make enveloped bass note with high harmonics (saw) muzh = [ Saw.ar(freq * [0.996, 1, 1.014]).pr...

Re: Hard Disk Recorder and "Eye Candies"
I get noise bursts all the time...
It bothers me, but I also know there's nothing I can do about it.
So, I just say a prayer before i load a song and keep the cursor on the volume slider...
