Re: Example project for a simple C#/XAML machine (non-DSP)?

Hi buzzers around the world, I use buzz since a very long time now and I have dowloaded a lot of bmw/bmx from a lot of various buzzers. Here you can download around 3000 files, some are just pure songs/tracks, some are demos/examples and some are remixes/collaborations/jams. There is here and there ...

Re: Advanced tips and articles
That sounds good, but also sounds like a lot of work there are some youtube videos with the sort of things you mention, but articles would help. Perhaps the wiki would be a good place to put them if someone finds the time?

Re: What´s your reason to use Buzz
I had used dos trackers for 5 years or so (screamtracker 3 and impulse tracker) and gone through a bit of a bad patch. A friend mentioned a new windows tracker that had all sorts of crazy stuff in it, and I gave buzz a try. Fell in love, samples worked the same way, very intuitive, first time I didn...

i'd really like to see what others use as a startup template, i tried making one a while back and it just became overly complicated. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12332475/basictemplate.PNG the 3 mix machines are mixio. the multi just has the limiter set. I often change the effect machines or...

yes, but remember to use the 32-bit build of buzz as the 64-bit is unstable.

hahaha, very nice mag! i made a joke track using joachip's uranus 0.8 delay machine and a sample of someone making a joke about uranus a few months ago, but i probably shouldnt share it as the sample was copyrighted etc.
i think we could make a whole album with a track for each planet/machine of his!

Re: Multiple cores?
With buzz I think the number of cores is more useful than the individual power. There are only a couple of huge vst's that will take up an entire modern core, and buzz will helpfully sort that out for you with the multithreading option enabled. So 4 cores would give you say 3 big vsts and everything...

[ Jumping topic from midi to audio]I know I could use ReaRoute to capture audio into reaper, what about capturing audio from Buzz into Buzz ? do you mean recording a machine's output and using it as a sample? in that case, try http://www.buzzmachines.com/machineinfo.php?id=1063 or http://www.buzzma...

Re: New laptop, can't save tracks anymore
The privileges in win 7 are a pain, but you can use a few of its features to make it usable.. Not sure about 8 as I haven't used it. The documents folder is probably the best place to put bmx's, and you can set up a Library to include the program directory too. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12...
