Youtube seems to automagiced a channel for buzz videos http://www.youtube.com/channel/HCd45EE27rkgI lots of stuff I hadn't seen on there. However, most of the videos from here and buzzchurch aren't on there. Anyone know whats going on or how to add stuff to a generated channel?

Re: Ableton style Clip Launcher [WANT!]
this is a lot of fun. :D gonna have to rename a lot of patterns though as 90% of my files are just full of "00 1.break" rather then "c7 break" oskari: can we mirror the code somewhere to play around with ideas for key strokes etc? or maybe putting it in the sequencer view ...

Re: Buying touchscreen laptop - useful for buzz?
Buzz works well with the Core i3 - I'm impressed with the new Qsamo synth. A simple patch using 4 voices seemed to use about 3-4% CPU. Buzz itself has definitely evolved a bit since last used. The touchscreen may have some use for live twiddling but the sliders are a bit too close together on machi...

Re: Buying touchscreen laptop - useful for buzz?
I used a similar laptop with only 2gb ram for over 2 years with buzz, was fast until i started using 4 corona vsts and joachip's jupiter 3.1. but polac's vst wrapper can render audio now, so even with large vsts you can still work one vst at a time. i didnt find the touchscreen much use tbh, but tha...

It's a conspiracy to get cyan to make more machines Though wasnt there some rumour he had one ready that he'd release if we all annoyed him enough?Per Lichtman wrote:You needed to up your post count? Seems weird when we've all been using your machines for what seems like a decade.

Re: Looping Live Audio
I'd recommend wde's freezer 2 and ix's transport alpha 2. (its stable despite being an alpha) They should be able to combine to do what you want with a tracker..

Re: youtube disagrees
The dubstep on TV and the mainstream (and what people generally say nowadays is dubstep) isn't dubstep, it's brostep. This is what dubstep is meant to sound like - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cOC2NcbADM I love that track, and burial etc, but it's quite hard to find anything like it being made r...

i've used it a fair bit in the past, and i just ignored that message.. however, i think it's still a bit buggy, my tracks crash less since i started using chopper instead.

Re: Highest Quality Buzz FX
I use a lot of effects, often too many but they are so much fun :) I use a lot of the ones other people have talked about, but you all missed: Joachip Chopper, a gapper with a few extra bits that let the gaps to evolve through the track. You can get a lot of movement out of it, and if he ever finish...

I'd start looking in BuzzGUI.MachineView.Connection.UpdateVisuals() , but not sure how/where its done. Good luck with it
Re: MT Kross
Hah, I didn't know about that ld machine. I'm pretty sure ld was in the irc channel when we were looking for a machine that cross faded too! Anyway, it was easy and multiIO looks better
MT Kross
Simple new machine, takes two inputs and allows you to fade the output between them. Thanks to shroom for the idea, and joachip and unz for some refinements. Equal mode use equal power to make the volume seem steady while fading, linear provides a direct comparison. If you don't know which mode you ...
