Re: pattern editor - any way to scroll seamlessly to next pa
Other trackers/ Renoise can do this, but I can see a fairly good reason why buzz doesn't.
Given this sequence:
[1]
[2]
[1]
[3]
What pattern do you scroll to after 1 ?
(In Renoise you can see the pattern and sequence at the same time, so you know which of the 1s you're in)

Re: Considerations before buying a midi controller
edit: some controllers offer to store presets - how does this work in combination with buzz? MIDI knobs and faders are all assigned a number, which is then linked with the params in Buzz. The presets let you switch between sets of those assignments so you could have something like: Preset A: your 8...

"Midi in device is in use, try another one..."
Unselect the device it in Buzz's own preferences.

Re: Pattern XP mod
This is correct.
The one included with buzz is now gear_defaults.xml so it doesn't overwrite your customisations when you upgrade.
Just create a copy, rename it to gear.xml and edit that.

Re: new pvst beta (updated 25-Dec-2014)
Not sure what you're asking, you can't really mean CCs since there are only 0-127 possible CCs.
If you mean VST params, take a look here http://www.xlutop.com/buzz/pvstdocs/main.html#17

You might need the one with Sane Person Columns (the one where you can tab to note columns?)

Yes it is.
Which input machine you should use depends on which audio driver you're using though.
