Re: Flickering drop-down menus in PVST & 64-bit VST2 plugins
Another issue with disabling embedded GUI is that if you attempt to open the embedding-disabled VST GUI while a "regular" / embedding-enabled VST GUI is currently visible, Buzz will "hang" for about 30-60 seconds. Audio will continue to function, but everything else Buzz-related...

Re: Flickering drop-down menus in PVST & 64-bit VST2 plugins

Re: Flickering drop-down menus in PVST & 64-bit VST2 plugins
Disabling "Embedded GUI" leaves me in a situation where I cannot close the VST UI once it's been opened. Yes, you cannot directly close the vst window, you have to close the small window with the pvst logo. This also happens if you remove the PVST machine while the VST GUI is still active...
Re: Plugins called .vst3
Just be absolute certain... are 64 bit VST3 plugins that have a file name ending with .vst3 supposed to work in 32 bit buzz using the wrapper? I'm trying to get it to work on my computer, but they don't show up. I tried making a copy of the .vst3 file called .dll which then shows up, but it won't l...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 1-Jun-2021)
Bump, uploaded a new version fixing the Ozone problem(and probably fixing the Roland Cloud problems too). I cannot test Roland Cloud anymore because of a bug with the Cloud Manager which does not install the Zenology plugin(it did at first then i uninstalled it, after this an reinstall was impossibl...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-May-2021)
Ok I found the bug, I'm wondering why other vst3 did work. I will upload a new loader version tomorrow. Sorry for this bug argh. They changed(Steinberg) something with the conversion from TUID to FUID, the vst3s were not able to query certian interfaces anymore.

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-May-2021)
I tested now ozone 8 elements, crashes here too(the vst3 version), will check. Seems i cannot fix this easily it crashes in ozone code. And I didn't change much in the initialization, I think it has something to do with the newer vst3sdk. With the older vst3sdk i get it to work which is odd. So the...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-May-2021)
I'm having the same issue with Ozone 8 and I'm not able to avoid it. Loading a song with crashing ozone unfortunately handicaps all other polac vst instances and causes issues when saving the song again. Are you using the vst3 version? I did some changes on the vst3 wrappers but did not test that m...

That's what i'm doing too.Well I have to admit that I avoid to install VST3 in favour of VST2 also by manual deleting .vst3

Re: Juce plugins in bridged mode (pvst)
But maybe all that was missing was to add "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" to the VST directories list in the "Global 2" tab of pvst? No you don't have to add your vst3 folder in Global2, that has no consequences. The vst3s are still and only scanned in "C:\Program File...

Re: Juce plugins in bridged mode (pvst)
I'm also chasing a different problem with (at least) Rhizomatic Plasmonic and DiscoDSP Corona and even the SuperMassive effect where these plugins sometimes do not recall their settings correctly when loading a bmx file with more than one instance of the same VST. I haven't yet figured out exactly ...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-May-2021)
There are often some fake midi cc parameters and a bypass parameter in vst3, these need to be unselected for randomization.

Re: Flickering drop-down menus in PVST & 64-bit VST2 plugins
Most likely Samplitude does not embed a window of another process into another parent window and just opens a new popup window, who knows?it does not happen when using the same 64 bit plugin in 32 bit Samplitude

Re: Flickering drop-down menus in PVST & 64-bit VST2 plugins
Yes can reproduce it here, I guess it can be fixed by disable "embedded gui" in the bridge settings. I know there are some problems with plugins done with the JUCE framework.

Re: Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
Never asked him, my guess he wouldn't answer if I did.Hey Polac - Did you ever hear anything from Oskari about this ? I only really need a 'Matilde VST' but obviously if other machines were possible to use that'd be amazing !
