Re: How to send midi cc to a vst (sq8l) in buzz 1.2, interna

Thanks polac, I will try this also. First thought there is no easy way, now it seems there are even two alternatives, one without inertia, another with inertia. Have to find out what is the use of 'inertia' and how to use it bestly? UPDATE: Tried this command quickly, works also. Track Parameter: 30...

Re: How to load samples in buze 0.5.8 into Wavetable 01 slot

Which is the most elegant way of loading samples or multiple samples into buzz 1.2, not the latest buzz. Can I for example define directories for each project, then switch between those directories and buzz 1.2 or any cool machine will load the entire content of that directory into the Wave slots, e...

Re: buzz, wave path, not showing, only showing file name?

No, interestingly the problem disappeared, now the paths are not shown, only file name is shown. Strange. I meant inside the 'Pattern Editor', on top the dropdown list of 'Wave'. Now everything is fine. I will keep an eye on it, in which cases it displays the complete path again. Thanks for the resp...

Thanks a lot! 09 4Axx with xx between 00..7F does the job. Great. Now this is useful.

Does buzz 1.2 have internal midi routing?

If no, how do you overcome this limitation? Example: You want to control the filter of sq8l vsti, using midi cc = 74 events.

UPDATE: Yes, polac vsti, 09 4Axx with xx between 00..7F.

How to send midi cc to a vst (sq8l) in buzz 1.2, internally?

I load SQ8L, playing nicely, now I want to control its filter using cc 74, how can I accomplish this? Buze has miditracker, which buzz does not have? Any internal method of sending cc events to another machine, in this example to sq8l? Thanks in advance. Probably basics for advanced buzz users, but ...

buzz, wave path, not showing, only showing file name?

Can I disable showing path of wave files in 'Wave' in buzz, so it displays only file name instead? Reason, if path is long I can not see the file name. Kind of show stopper, in terms of seeing with the eyes.

How to load samples in buze 0.5.8 into Wavetable 01 slot?

Somehow I could not find it out. What is the best way of loading wave files into buze or buzz? For example having multiple sets of files any other creative options I am not aware of yet. But simple things first, just loading three samples: kick, snare, hihat. Here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gE...

Playing the line under the cursor?

Is there any such feature in latest buzz or buzz related programs like buze? For some use cases it can be useful stepping over previously entered lines and hear the notes one by one. Do not think of music but triggering certain actions via midi in other programs. I am using buzz only for automating ...

Pattern notes queueing, best method

Example: 2 midi patterns in 2 parallel machines, i want to send out all pattern1 notes first, then all pattern2 notes, even if the notes were placed on same time points. How could i achieve such pattern notes queueing functionality? Any tips are welcome. Those will be control notes, so they do not g...

If we could do this for pattern data only, might be great for saving templates, in emacs, in yankpad.

If ReaRoute and ASIO via wineasio would already work, it would be probably easy. :) Have to fight with those problems first.

Re: Which polac vst loader works with buze 0.5.9 in wine?

Cool, thanks a lot. I had downloaded this zip before already, but did not test it yet. Just tested now. It works after those steps: 1. copy from 'gear' directory and all its subdirectories files to the big letter versions in my buze 0.5.9 directory. 2. then 'gui is initializing' did not continue, ha...

Re: Other good or known forums for buzz and buzzlike softwar

For me top two reasons: 1. sequencer view (perfect and fun playlist functionality for pattern arrangement) 2. vst support (if it would work in wine, found a working buzz, but not yet buze, as I want a solution for buze 0.5.9, not the latest) If renoise does not have point 1, then it is already shows...
