How to see difference between two VSTs of same kind?

Post by AndersBrontosaurus »

If i use 2 copies of the same native machine it's easy to spot the difference when the parameter window is open since i can change name of the machines. If I use VSTs this toesn't happen. Even if i change the name of the machine the headline in the parameterwindow will remain the same so if i use let's say three oatmeal in the same song and have the parameter windows open, how do you know which is which?

I could also show the machine label instead of the vst name, that's not a problem. I think I actually did display the label in some earlier version of pvst. Right now you could doubleclick the machine to find the corresponding window.
