Hey
I'm using Jmmcd Peer Note-pool quite often, as I'm fond of generative compositions and sometimes semi-random results (Thanks for the "disease", Tinga!). But lately it's been crashing on me for a reason or two. I took a screenshot. Usually it happens when modulating the note-parameter. Anyone can decipher what is causing it (I'm not good at this BuzzGUI stuff):
Thanks in advance!

maybe some note out of range thing?
you could try to figure out what the highest/lowest note is until it crashes.
(the note will get converted to a number which must be in the range of 0-127 i believe)

I've had that same error using notepool and peerscale...I can't remember exactly why, but it did seem to be about notes out of range as strobotone has suggested.

yeah, that could be it. Have tried it a few times and it seems to be "out of frame notes" that causes it. Question is though, couldn't that bug be easily fixed? (too high/low notes = ignored...and/or shot into deep space for aliens to have fun with?)strobotone wrote:maybe some note out of range thing?
