PVST: Can I feed audio into an instrument?

Post by IXix »

I've started using the TX16Wx sampler VSTi. It has the facility to record audio into its own wavetable but I can't figure out how to route sound into it. If I change the Inputs setting in the PVST preferences the changes are discarded, I guess because it's an instrument and not an effect.

Is it possible? Could it be made possible?

Did you try to load the sampler as effect(via open dialog in pvst)? It seems to work here, I was able to record. And I did not change the input routings in the preferences.

That's it! Thanks! I didn't think to try that. I was just typing "TX" and double-clicking.
