btdsys audiotrack, htf do you use it?

i've got the machine loaded, got a wave imported, got a pattern in the sequencer, got it connected to master, but it doesn't play the wav. what should i do to get some sound out of this machine?

It's not very straightforward and I don't get very in depth with it (I use it mostly for input of acapella tracks), but here is how I do it.

1) New pattern 8192 rows length (max)
2) Menu -> Import -> from file
3) Click the waveform
4) Menu -> Select -> All
5) Menu -> Take -> Set Active

From there, you should just be able to load the pattern in the song view and it should play normally.

awesome, thanks. i'm trying to use it for acapellas as well. i found another thread in which you mention this process but couldn't get it to work at the time, probably just due to the fact that i was rather half in the bag . got it working today with your advice, thanks

Oh, and if you run into timing issues, you can get it lined up by going into song view and setting the step to 1 and insert / delete until it lines up. That should fix your issues.

And you can get rid ot the grid when you are in tick mode by pressing ctrl and using the mouse to achieve a grid independent (fine) selection you want to activate.

thanks for the advice and tips guys, i think i'll be able to get this acapella synced up. wish there was a fine offset, looks like the best i can do is try and trim the waveform to fit exactly where it needs to go to start it at the right timing.
