Additional Buzz Tool's to download? you may Buzz here.

Post by JMC »

Hi

Buzz is not alone, there exist many additional tools for Buzz which you can download some where.
They reach from a simple beat or sample calculator over pattern editor's and mod's to drumkit editor's or many other stuff you can dream of...

If you know about such Buzz tools and where to find them ...
If you develope such a Buzz tool or many of them ...

Let us know about

Post what you have found or what you have created here in to this topic,
so we can have a big library of Buzz-Tool's here.

Try to search before you post stuff twice, but better twice than never ;)
If it is possible, add a description and tell us what the tool should do, how it works, how it is related to Buzz and where we can find it.
It has not to be a big book, may just some short words are more than too much of an overdose.

It's just to let people know what exists and what they can search for.

and who knows, if we get a cool list together, may some tools could also find a place on the plugin site as tools ;)

Drumkit Manager 3 version 0.2 + 70 drumkits. Click here

Here is the lastest (I suppose) version of Drumkit Manager 3.
The link above take you to a folder containing 70 drumkits, the installer for the Drumkit Manager, the PSI Drum2 generator for which the DKM3 was made. PSI Drum2 use drumkits.

This tools lets you create your own drumkits with wav samples (see DKM3.gif animation below). You can have more than one sample by class of samples, by example you can put 5 different kicks in the Bass Drum class. You can use a drumkit in PSI Drum2 but this machine has the reputation of crashing Buzz.
Anyway, you can use drumkits in the fantastic SampleGrid3 (see picture SGrid3-drumkits.jpg below).

Also, you can reverse Drumkits to extract the wav samples from it if you want to use these samples in another machine that doesn't use drumkits (see Export-DKM3.jpg below).

I think there is more than 70 drumkits avalaible, I have to check my old files to see if I can find more of it. Anyway, 70 drumkits is a huge drums samples library

PS : the gif animation is played only 5 times. To see it again just reload the page or download it with right-click on it

This would be better if done on a wiki so links can be updated and obsolete tools marked as such.

Yes,
the best would be if the tools get on the plug-ins site to download, as all the machines.
how ever, its a good idea to put the list into the wiki too :D no one will hinder you ;)

meanwhile we, hopefully, collect some more, secret and hidden Buzz tools and utilities in this topic and if we are luky we also will collect here some new and unknown Buzz tools (to put them later into the wiki) ;)

until this is done, you can search the forum for tools and you will find them here :?

The Music Calculator from the 2004 Massive Pack is one of the best tools I have ever seen/used. I would love to get my hands on CyanPhase's CyanWerks Buzz Theme Tool if anyone could find it. I love the iLike Machines Extended Theme that I've modified to my tastes/needs - but I think I could have better luck modifying my own version of iLike with a program like CyanWerks.

Has anyone talked to CyanPhase & seen if he still has the files he could share?

See You In The Shadows…
