focusrite 18i6

Post by boombaxx »

Been using this over a year it's good sound quality but very buggy it disconnects itself when ever feels like it no warning. I am throwing mine in the bin so no-one has to suffer it. Any suggestions for a new soundcard i heard the audient was very good

I've been using RME fireface 800 for about 12 years, still rock solid. If you're looking for a long term investment I recommend RME.

Weird, been using its little brother (8i6) for years without any such disconnections, I'm guessing you've tried all the usual tricks with driver and firmware updates for it?

Does it do it when there's nothing else on USB?
Maybe it's not getting enough power ?
