I remember at one time you could modify which ticks were highlighted as beats in the pattern editor. Please tell me this wasn't an Overloader feature - in fact I swear it was in New Buzz. Am I just daft & can't find where to adjust this setting? Or is it something that isn't available anymore. If it's the latter, can we bring it back? Would there be a a way to have this attached to the TPB selector (i.e. whatever value you set the TPB to, that automatically sets the beat marker in the pattern editor)?

But then, maybe I'm dreaming…

I'm not sure it's what you're searching for but you have "Bar" commande in patternXP.
Or you can play with Rows per beat number in "Pattern Properties"
