IX PatchBay 2.0 beta - Updated 20th April 2013

Post by IXix »

Started in the dim distant past, awakened by necessity. I give you (without warranty)... IX PatchBay 2.0

Things to be aware of:
1. Occasionally, it has appeared that some connections have been forgotten ie. the patch says sound from input i should go to output o but no sound is heard. If this happens to you please let me know.

Things on the to-do list:
1. Drag/drop reassign machine to input and input to output

Suggestions welcome. :)

Changes:

2013.04.20
  • Fixed exception when mute/solo/bypassing a connected machine
  • Fixed unwanted pin set when GUI opens under mouse
  • Better drag (dis)connect behaviour (mouse must be close to pin centre for set/clear to work)
  • Removed "auto assign input" attribute (can't work as intended)
2013.04.19
  • Initial beta release

Nice, cool to have all in one window,(of course the multi in/out 8-) ) and also the old right click for all the machines in one place , very useful.
A small bug on my PC win7, when i use bypass or mute in the input or output view, this message appear:

Oops! Should be an easy fix though. Hopefully later today. Thanks tinga.

Regarding the "Assign input/output labels" feature...

If I/O is connected to a single machine, the I/O label is set to the machine name.
If I/O has no connections, it is labelled ".."
If there are two or more connections, the label is not changed

I don't like the last behaviour but I'm not sure what could be done to improve it. Any suggestions?
