I think I made more chords, I'll send you.
Merci.
Maybe you could send me a bmx with the chords, I could try to save the progression and see if it's the program or your machine.

- Chord expert dialog : bug correction on display of chords progression
- Transpose Dialog : Optimize check box added.
- Transpose Dialog : bug correction on preset selection.

The transpose dialog has 2 process :

- Move row/selection
- Duplicate + move row/selection
You can do that :
Dbl click on the row number to select the row
Ctrl X to cut or Ctrl C to copy
Ctrl V to paste or Ctrl Shift V to merge
As a tip for future improvements, any action should be additionally available as qwerty hotkey, e.g. dbl click, should be also possible via hotkeys, meaning without using any mouse. Why? Then it would be possible to create using tools like AutoHotkey, doing some bigger macros. Anything you can imagine. Only the usage of mouse should be prevented as much as possible. Thanks for reading. :)

How about a random command where it generates a number between 0-127 for the program change like ZZ. It would be interesting but not very useful because the song would play different every time u loaded it up. Although it would be useful for looong pieces because u could set it to randomise every few minutes.A song that evolves over the course of the time it plays. if u had 2 synths each with 128 presets it would be 128 x 128 that would be 16384 versions plus the length of the song say 3 minutes that would be a song that is 49152 minutes long or 7 and a half days..

Hi Chahur,

great pattern Editor! I'd like to see it as the standard editor of buzz. :)

unfortunately the newer versions crash on my system (Win10x64). When I correctly remember it was when using the chords expert. A older version of the beginning of 2017 works fine.

By the way. For me it would be very helpfull to have a windowed split view of instruments/patterns side by side. If you think it's worth to program... ;)
(I know the possibility to combine instruments in one pattern)

I need some more infos if you want me to find what happens... Could you describe exactly what you do ?
Is it with the 32bits version of buzz ?

thanx for reply,

hmm, I reinstalled your latest version. Sorry, I could not replicate the crash, for now. Perhaps it was an earlier version which crashed. Anyway.

I use the 32bit version.

Greetings

EDIT: I had this whole post about how range selection isn't "sticky" when you use keyboard navigation or change values but I just realized Ctrl+B or E save's your range! I don't know why I stopped using it. Maybe there's a reason why the mouse or keyboard ranges arn't sticky but as long as I know Ctrl+B is I'm going to just use that from now on.

Maybe this helps people who didn't know about the oldschool range selection so I'll leave it here.

Maybe a stupid question, but I dare:

how to make a volume slide with a VSTi ?
E.G my oboe.

PS: Can I play a pattern repeatedly (looping) with all instruments/tracks by a shortcut? If not, would be nice to have ;-)

thank you very much,

Use the Wet out Parameter and do an Interpolate.
HerrFornit wrote:PS: Can I play a pattern repeatedly (looping) with all instruments/tracks by a shortcut? If not, would be nice to have ;-)

thank you very much,
"Space" play the pattern repeatedly (alone).
If you want all the tracks, create a region (Ctrl+B Ctrl+E) in the sequence view and play it with F5 or F6.

Ok, thanx, great, easy but you have to know!,

Is it right, the wet out range is different from track velocity command? Max 0190 vs 7F ?

Ok, it works wirth ctr E ctrl B,
It's not possible to play a pattern from the cursor position in the trackview? I mean at any ticK?

Thank you very much.

Yes : from 0 to 400%

In the pattern View, Shift+Space starts from the cursor position.
In the sequence View, F6 starts from the cursor position.

Hey, I'm having the "Specified Module Cannot be Found" Error
I have installed VC 2013 and 2015.
I'm trying to do the alternate method, declaring pattern XP mod in gear.xml and keeping the original pattern xp

Thanks for any help.

Problem to change time signature

Hi chahur,

I have now and then the problem to change back the time scale after inserting a new time signature.
In the lower example, I have pattern length of 32 with time signature of 16. I then set the time signature to 8, in order to have a break.
After editing the pattern-sequence I then wanted to change the time signature back to 16 at the point where the TS is 8. I can type in 16 but the step from 8 to 16 remains.
The patterns and the time scale keep asynchronous.
Thanx a lot for your reply.
