PS Can you use the pattern colours of new sequencer as default for audio view, just for consistency perhaps as a checkbox ?
I don't think that is possible.
Other stuff are features

Hey wde, do you think you could ad a per-file option to loop the audio?

Woah! Very nice work! It even overcomes the limitations of the wonderful Audiotrack, namely that it can load samples from the wavetable instead of just into memory.

Yeah, I could add enable/disable for loop and read the loop points from wavetable. Would be simple enough approach, right?

oh yes,
[but give us freehand envelope, too !

That's very cool for adjusting variations in velocity in long vocal tracks or for fadings, etc...
Looks like you have it already coded?

I love it, wde! Great work on this machine. I think it's going to revolutionize how we use Buzz. It's a real game changer already & the features you're thinking of adding will continue to change things for the better.
+1 for Volume Envelopes

Sorry, quick question for wde (or anyone else who's installed Audioblock). What version number are you at with the latest release? I've DL'd & updated it so many times, I just want to make sure I've kept up. My installed version says it's Version 0.9.4
Thanks in advance!

Not doable at the moment but you can always create multiple instances of AudioBlock.

@wde: If this is Not an April 1st please upload a more actual version, not one from march, so that we have something to test ... Otherwise it's just nice graphics ...

OK, I DL'd the linked version & installed it. I was a version behind. According to the About it's version 0.9.5 (if anyone else is wondering). Thanks WDE!
And the bezier curves look awesome. Can't wait for version 0.9.6

April fools joke at this point would be too cruel. Haven't had time to test this enough but seems to work ok.
- Line and curve (spline) envelopes.
- Curves are automatically cut if exceeding min/max.
- Freezing/unfreezing envelope points.
- AudioBlock is pretty paranoid about freezing the envelope points just to make sure user does not accidently mess up envelope points. Just unfreeze single point or all to edit.
- Realign points when offset is changed.
- Volume
- 0dB and 6dB modes.
- Tip: Use the Gain knob to set the overall volume level for the sample.
- Pan
- Panning uses "constant power panning" technique.
- Looping
- Enabling looping disables resizing pattern automatically because AudioBlock does not know how long you plan to loop. Instead you need to resize pattern to loop longer.
- Open loop allows envelope points outside loop limits.
- Loop start & end lines.
- Wave view orientation saved in song.
- Supports all audio interface sample rates.
- Supports all Buzz wavetable audio formats & sample rates.
- Other fixes, backwards compatible.

That's pretty amazing. It's a bit weird having to use a context menu to add envelope points though. Could we get something like ctrl+click on the envelope to add, alt+click to remove?
Bloody amazing though. Can't quite believe it!
