Just got my Izotope Iris. Absolutely love it..strange approach to sound creation. Wrote this short piece as a little preview of what it can do. The main synth in the track is written with a sample called "face lift" from the Iris sample bank mangled by yours truly. Can't say that this isn't possible with the more conventional synths out there, but you can get some pretty whacked out sounds in no time out of this thing. I did add some strings about half way through the track to add more detail, but still Iris remained the main ingredient.
