My personal fave was & still is Jangle from Onyx (released on PC in 1993)... in fact the whole group wasn't much more than musicians... they even developed a unique module format for this prod (.omf) which made the musics impossible to rip out but the samples which were extracted from the .exe turned up in many later .mod's ... not much info on this release even on Pouet but for those who saw it _then_ it was a jawdropper :o

I remember the name but couldn't get it to run properly in dosbox.

Well, unfortunately I can't get it to work in DosBox either (it was even hard to get it to run it back then on the hardware of the time)... anyway the musics are available on Amiga Music Preservation in .mod and .s3m format under the musicians' profiles... btw. hi Oskari! :)
