Hi,
Here is the poll to select which idea will be used for the next contest.
There is 4 ideas actually.
1) szaszhareen
"2-4-6 buzzed buzz contest"
drink 4-6 beers in rapid succession (say within the span of 2 hours), then give yourself 2 hours to write a 2 minute tune.
you can use any machines or samples, the key thing is to make sure you have a buzz and time yourself to 2 hours writing the track.
2) AndersBrontosaurus
Make your own cover/interpretation of Scarborough fair.
All tricks allowed. No holds barred.
Definite success and this tune could use some new versions.

3) mag
To rewrite the soundtrack of this :
http://youtu.be/ru6hGwjfRqM
You can use the existing backtrack or not, as you want.
4) mag
Remixing an Oskari starter bmx for a compo (a.k.a 'a contest'). It's LeChuck Theme from the video game Monkey Island : http://youtu.be/wnAghYUxLms
In the blah-blah section of the bmx are written the rules :
General Rules
-----------------------
+ You can add up to 2 more copies of each machine that are supplied in the template for a total of 3 (including the origional)
+ You can add one sample that is <= 200kb in size
+ You can connect the machines however you would like
- You cannot add new machines that are not already in the template
- You cannot process the given samples in an external editor (that includes the waveedit.dll)
Sounds good to me as rules.
Make your choice Write 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 here. Thanks!
