Looking for 9x EDM

Post by XBit9x »

I see Jeskola Buzz was created in the post trance boom progressive era of 97. There was not much money in it, and people did their progressive style on personal interest rather than money, and there was some skill displayed in this, and I was wondering if this is reflected in buzz files of the era.

I was wondering if anyone knew music module files from around the time, which I would find interesting.

You should look here :
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1738
A lot of modules from the era you speak about can be founded here I think. But it's all in Buzz original files (bmx).
So you have to get Buzz installed.

Some older mp3 here too :
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2343

And there is a group on facebook where you can find some old Buzz songs : jeskola buzz (buzzers)

First loads in the 2009 version, but lacks all the plugins.

I think will try those who work in the new version.

Peace.

I think old songs can be loaded in new buzz.
I loaded some of my earlier songs (circa 2002) without problems.
Tell us what happens and maybe we can help you ;)

You can find (still) all Buzz plugins here :

Another Buzz time capsule: here are all the entries for the Buzz lego compo from 2000, some of which might fit your criteria. My entry (defiance.bmw) was kind of trance-y, at least in the second half.

I tested a couple just now, and they work in the current version of Buzz. Since they all use the same set of machines (by the design of the compo), I assume all should load fine.

Loading old files is a git unless you have the dodgy plugins installed. There used to be a pack by hamster with pretty much everything but I've not got a backup of it. It's a shame. Plugins always seem to be missing on the old tracks load. Even if it were just for a VM.
