Recording Peerchord

I know there's a thread or two about 'new' Buzz not letting you record the notes Peerchord is sending to another machine in that machine, but I'm just wondering if it's possible to record MIDI note data into the patterns of the Peerchord itself. Hopefully I'm missing something obvious! Cheers in advance.
