Assign channels by frequency
Is there a method, or buzzmachine that will let me split the sound from a generator into separate channels, based on its frequency so that I could have my generator's high and low sounds put into two different channels for mixing, or something like that?

wav volume too low
The volume of the wav files I record with the hard disk recorder are of a lower volume than when I play the bmx file in buzz. Can I change something so the hd recorder outputs a wav file at the intended volume?

Re: Transfering buzz files between computers
That's it. I had to duplicate the file path from my old computer. Thanks a lot.

Re: Transfering buzz files between computers
That would interfere with my new .bmx files though, wouldn't it?

Re: Transfering buzz files between computers
It could be an issue of different versions. I put both in the same folder, so is there a way to tell the machines they should be loading Massive(2).dll instead of Massive.dll for example? If I open the .bmx file and then load the correct vst, it comes up with the default "new" patch instea...

Re: Transfering buzz files between computers
Yes it did use polac vst. The computers have different operating systems, but as far as I can tell everything relating to Buzz is the same. Same machines and vsts and same vst loader.

Transfering buzz files between computers
I have some unfinished projects on my old computer that I'd like to finish on my new, better computer. But my new computer tells me the plugins for my VSTs are missing, though I have no trouble with creating new projects. Is it possible to start work on a bmx file on one computer then move it to a d...

Re: Automating parameters not in machine view.
I got the parameter to turn on via midi note, but pressing the note again causes the parameter to re-trigger instead of turning it off.

Re: Automating parameters not in machine view.
Peerctrl: First download v1.5 from here: http://www.buzzmachines.com/machineinfo.php?id=805 Then copy this one here over: http://forums.jeskola.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1252#p7994 I'm a bit confused. Am I supposed to replace the PeerCtrl.dll from the v1.5 with the 'x86 dll only, static MFC' one?...

Re: Automating parameters not in machine view.
I can see the trigger in the parameter list when I load the Jeskola Noise Generator in PVST, but I don't have the 'Bind To Midi Controller' option any more. So, how do I accomplish that? Also, for some reason I can't get PeerCtrl to work. I click on 'Assignment Settings' and nothing happens.

Automating parameters not in machine view.
How can I automate a trigger/parameter that doesn't appear in machine view? For example, Jeskola Noise Generator in machine view has the parameters Attack, Sustain, Release, Color, and Volume. But in sequence view there's also an On/Off trigger. How can I assign that trigger to one of the controls o...

Re: Adding to Vst Parameter list.
Neither method works. I am also unable to assign any of my keyboard's controls to a parameter, though I can assign them to the controls on the GUI . I have MIDI: Receive CC & MIDI: Receive Note active. Are there other particular settings I need for this to work?

Adding to Vst Parameter list.
When using Vst's, how do I add a new parameter to the list? For example: the parameter list for Kontakt only has auto-generated parameters for the master controls (volume, pan, tune). If I load an instrument in Kontakt, how would I then add parameters for that instrument's particular controls?

Re: No sound through subwoofer with asio.
I've determined WASAPI doesn't have this issue, though I don't know enough about audio routing to know whether WASAPI will do, or if I really should be using ASIO.

Re: No sound through subwoofer with asio.
Oh! I was right-clicking the Asio/Audio Out box. The small circle gives me 6 outputs, but only the first 2 produce any sound, and neither has audio coming through the subwoofer.UNZ wrote:are you right-clicking on the small circle ? make a screenshot please.

Re: No sound through subwoofer with asio.
i guess you're using asio4all, did a bit of googling and it seems that it doesn't have options for this. the easiest way is to route the whole mix to the subwoofer channel too i guess (with polac asio out). Yes I'm using asio4all. How would I find the subwoofer channel? look at the picture joachip ...

Re: No sound through subwoofer with asio.
there should be an option somewhere in your soundcard's (realtek?) configuration utility to switch to "stereo" instead of 5.1 or 2.1 configuration. that way the subwoofer should not get routed to its own output channel. "Stereo" is the only option I have. Whether or not I have &...
