Re: Getting started making machines.
Thanks Zephod! I love your machines! I guess my biggest goal would be to attempt to make synths using novel forms of tone generation. I'd love to learn DSP. I have math phases I go through maybe once a year. I just took the accuplacer, which is a college entrance exam in USA. I got a perfect score i...

Getting started making machines.
I've always dreamed of making machines, but I've never gotten off the ground coding. The most complex thing I ever made was a program that found prime numbers. I'd love to learn though. I'd love to know more about how buzz machines work, and I'd feel way proud if I could drop a synth of my own makin...

Re: Buzzmachines is under attack by bots. Save the machines!
This could also be a good opportunity to bring some lesser known buzz machines that aren't on buzzmachines back out of the shadows. There are some machines that aren't on there right?

Buzzmachines is under attack by bots. Save the machines!
I grabbed rout808 yesterday when I was introducing buzz to my little brother. In the search results there were a lot of 'machines' that were ads for tractors and hot air balloon rides and shiz. We all know that buzzmachines is in a deteriorating condition. My greatest fear is that the website will g...

How do I make a theme?
I'm less technically gifted than all you geniuses, but I've wondered for a long time if building a theme for buzz might be within my grasp. I have some experience programming in python and some visual programming languages. I imagine that there's some stylesheet-ish kind of stuff you have to do? But...

Re: record wave into buzz.
What exactly are you looking for? A little clarification of your aims if you don't mind. You can record wavs using the hard disc recorder in the top bar, you can play external audio from within buzz using some of the polac utilities and other things, but it seems like maybe you're describing somethi...

Feature request (sorry!) toggle midi edit hotkey.
Writing for several instruments is very cumbersome when you have to constantly check and uncheck the midi edit box. I also often times forget to uncheck it, and end up writing a long run into a pattern unintentionally. Even better would be if midi edit accepted midi inputs on channels other than 1, ...

Re: Fuzzpilz Oatmeal - Where is it?
I guess this thing has polyphonic aftertouch, crossing my fingers I get this working I can't wait to try it out. I honestly don't even understand how polyphonic aftertouch can possibly work in this or any other universe, but the kurzweil midiboard says it can do it so here we goooooo

Fuzzpilz Oatmeal - Where is it?
I got a pack of fuzzpilz effects and generators, but oatmeal is not included. My main experience with fuzzpilz is orange kid, which has a really distinctive sound somehow, I like it a lot, although I can't get it to midi record. Was Oatmeal ever offered as a buzz native machine or is it vst only? If...

Re: Buzz crashes at loading patterns. Some questions.
I'm either using the latest build or 1 back, as the latest build only adds more intuitive support for pattern xp mod right? What does off to the Oskari mobile mean? Are you A: Oskari in disguise? or B : Oskaris sidekick? I am honestly blown away by the fact that I get to talk to so many of the peopl...

Re: Explain to me stereo
Hey wait though, this is just the machines, before I set everything up. Now all the MixIO are before the guitar rigs, and the final MixIO has everything separated into proper channels. I also renamed all the machines to make them easier to follow in pattern view. I just don't want you guys to think ...

Re: Buzz crashes at loading patterns. Some questions.
I put it together again, this time in a breadcrumb trail and replicated the crash at the point that I deleted the pattern tracks for polac asio in. So I don't think you can delete these tracks for whatever reason, although they appear to do nothing. So, be advised, friends. I think I'm the only one ...

Re: Explain to me stereo
Is there a newer version of Uranus than b6? It just uses a lot of cpu with the room quality set at 32 %D I also discovered that pulsar can use my entire cpu if I get a lot of overlap going and max the oversampling. I definitely want to max my cpu. It's just a question of to what aim? I thought that ...

Re: Setting/freezing "neutral" value on spring-loaded contro
Interesting question. Some vst can take the midi values you pass them and constrain them within any 2 arbitrary points, so the center of those two points become your new center. So if you can define a range for a midi controller within the vst you are using that would be one way to accomplish this. ...

Buzz crashes at loading patterns. Some questions.
I'm building a Bmx oriented towards my current intentions in a live setting. I've just gotten locked out of it since it crashes when I'm trying to open it. It crashes at the 'loading patterns' step. Could any of the following things have caused this problem? I don't want to run into it again this ti...

Re: Explain to me stereo
If I recall, the consensus is that 64 bit buzz is buggy and isn't worth it. Aren't there other applications for the 64 bit bus? I'll admit I'm not knowledgeable about this, but so many plugins are offered in 32 and 64 bit versions. Is it really only the ram? Isn't it also a bandwidth thing? Also, if...
