Re: Timeout to give Polac some serious damn love
Polac is literally a god to me. Polac you changed my life. I am not exhaggerating. Thank you and thank you to all the devs. Buzz is still the center of my life, thank you everybody for making this the greatest software of all time. I don't think I'll ever move on.

Re: Machine for sample/sound delay ?
I'd wager that fuzzpilz unwieldy delay can do anything that plugin you linked, and a lot more. It can also be set up as a very nice beat accurate looper. It has 3 channels with filters. Loop time can be set as ms, samples, or ticks per channel. I recently was looking for a cpu-friendly alternative t...

Re: Buzz - Best Software in History
Oh, you know, you're right about pattern colors. That really is a better feature of the newer pattern editor. I have a lot of tracks and if I could color code it, it would be a lot more readable. I use the old pattern editor as you describe, because I can't get my patterns to line up properly anymor...

Polac media VST audio offset
Can I use Polac Media VST > adjust audio > audio offset to make mediavst begin playing an audio file accurately at an arbitrary point in the bmx rather than beginning the audio at the start of the bmx? Is the offset in ticks?
Thanks!
Thanks!

How does a 'sustain' pedal work and is it in the buzziverse?
Hey guys. I'm back at it, buzzing on the daily and closing in on my goal of beginning to perform live in my city with buzz. Anyways I play a classical guitar with delay and distortion, and for certain sections I would like to find some way to increase the sustain of my instrument. The classical guit...

Buzz - Best Software in History
I have been looking through some of my old files, and I realized that I have been working on my default buzz setup, my template BMX that I work from for more than 3 years now! And it just keeps getting better! I am really closing in on my goal with this software at this point. I got stuck for a few ...

buzzfixkit and kibibu doof
I am having problems with kibibu doof, and I tried installing one of the large machine EXE packs that magmavander linked in the recent post about getting all machines. Along with that pack it recommends installing overloader and buzzfixkit. I did as I was told, but that install is now broken, saying...

There's also this functional offline version of Robot Planet, if you like the way it is organized. It contains all the machines available there as of the time it was created.

Data Loss, Data Recovery, Backup and LTO Tape
Hello everybody, I've been away for a while due to my having experienced a data loss. I wanted to share what I learned over the course of this process. TLDR? I lost my data. Got it back, and now I can return to BUZZING WOO! Data Loss - RAID- I believed that I was doing my best to prevent the possibi...

Re: recommend data recovery software
The best one I found was stellar data recovery. It found absolutely everything. Then I started running into the issue of where I am going to recover the data TO, I don't want to buy a bunch of hard drives. That lead me into the world of LTO tape, and then that lead me into the world of fiber optic c...

recommend data recovery software
So, this week I've had a major scare, nearly losing all the work I have ever done including like 1000 music recordings, all my buzz files, all my photos etc. I kept all my data mirrored on 2 hard drives, but in the end it was human error that caused me to have a massive data loss. All the files appe...

Re: Show your work (pics!)
Got this thing working in buzz. I had an FCB-1010 and really didn't like it. It had a dead zone at the base of the pedal, and was just generally uninspiring to play. So I went over to this roland fc-300. I'm really happy with it. The pedals are very solidly constructed, and it's much easier to progr...

Re: Mixing in Buzz (Please discuss)
It's amazing how buzz can adapt via it's modular architecture to whatever you want it to do. If I were doing a lot of heavy mixing in buzz I would buy a midi mixing console like this tascam m-3700 for $290 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tascam-M-3700-32-Ch-Analog-Console-Mixer-w-Midi-Automation-Mixing-Boa...

Re: Mixing in Buzz (Please discuss)
This BMX is at about revision 200. It started last spring. It was really simple back then, and it just keeps growing. It does: Vocal Effects (bottom left) Guitar Effects (mid left) 4 synthesizers (across the top): 2x qsamo 2x m4w2 all their effects Geist Drum Machine VST (mid right) Sound Sources (b...

Re: Info on HD Saturation and Arguru Inversor
Cool! I haven't tried HD Saturation, I'll have to give it a test. For a phase reverse I think the best is IX strip. It's very accurate and reliable. If you split the signal and phase reverse half of it and then recombine at equal gain absolutely nothing comes out. You would think that would be the c...
