Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)

Would it be possible to get a complete list of files and registry keys I'll need to delete for a completely-clean reinstall of PVST?

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually

Is it normal for Audioblock to use a lot of CPU when rendering audio? I've been seeing CPU Monitor report up to 70%, but only during render - live record is fine. I think 'Render Loop' renders the audio output as fast as possible and thus uses more CPU. I usually use 'Record Loop' because of some m...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually

1. Haven't noticed this. You could try different audio driver buffer sizes since there is some locking going on in AudioBlock to avoid thread collision. 2. I tried inversion test using 44.1KHz FLAC file and setting audio interface to 44.1kHz. Result is pure silence as expected. If your audio file s...

Re: Sequence Accumulator

Any chance of putting these on Buzzmachines? Dropbox links are 404. Ah yeah, dropbox killed the public folder for some reason so all the links died. The machines site won't let me log in atm so here are the new links... Re: Sequence Accumulator

IX Peer Accumulator x86 IX Peer Accumulator x64 (experimental, unsupported) I remember now that I did think of doing this ages ago but I couldn't think of a good way to implement it at the time. Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)

Also, I did an even more rigorous runthrough on the Sonic Charge machines, and figured out exactly how to trigger a "forgotten registration" on the 64 bit versions. I don't think this is the only reason registrations are forgotten (there's reports of Microtonic forgetting its registration on FLStudi...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)

I'll check Serum as I own that too. Steve says i set a wrong parameter value. Usually i'm not saving the values on song saving and I doubt that serum does not save chunkbased. I'll take a closer look. I think the Serum issue is just a symptom of a wider issue where occasionally, for whatever reason...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually

I'm beginning to notice a few issues with playback of longer files. 1. .WAV file playbacks are giving me clicks and pops, as if my CPU is heavily taxed. Windows Task Manager doesn't show any particularly heavy load, and the Buzz CPU monitor has AudioBlock at about 3.0% CPU, but the clicks are defini...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)

Polac, do you have any ideas what might cause a particular .BMX file to always crash when trying to load new instances of a specific .VST, when I can load multiple (even dozens) of that particular .VST into a blank project with no crash? Using Buzz 32, on Windows 7 64, and a 64-bit .VST, if that hel...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually

This is such an amazing little instrument, extremely helpful when doing "bounce-downs" (up until now I've been using Fuzzpilz Inp, but that's locked to project samplerate, and can be a bit janky). I was wondering if it'd be possible to add support for .ogg and .flac files? Or is this a Buzz-level li...

Yeah Magma, no worries (and sorry for hijacking this thread a little with tech support). If the plugin wasn't good (when it works), I wouldn't care that it was broken!

Re: Free stuff while locked in

Could be a bridgeing problem if you are using the x64 version of the plugin. The vst bridge is not 100% working with all plugins. Weird - never had a problem with anything else (in fact, your loader does a better job of loading x64 VSTs than anything else I've tried). Are there any diagnostics I ca...

No, running x86 version. I uninstalled via "Apps and Features" in windows settings. There was the balancer software and some intel software with same installation date. uninstalled both. Using VST2 only. Pethaps you could try to start buzz as admin and choose a different installation folder outside...

Re: IX Magic - Updated January 13th 2020

Hmmm, I think it's broken. Let me see what I did... No, the manual is broken and I forgot how it's supposed to work. The help text in the Magic window is correct, you put actual notes between curly braces to form a chord {C,E,G}. The manual is correctly describing how to make predefined chords like...

Re: IX Magic - Updated January 13th 2020

Either this is poorly-explained, or I'm missing something obvious, or this is bugged. Did you added tracks (same line than "target machine", "0-3" for a 4 notes chord)? you have also to add tracks to the targeted machine, sometime I forget that, and I have the same issue, so not a bug probably you ...

Re: IX Magic - Updated January 13th 2020

Chord start/end '{' and '}' Place a comma separated list of intervals between the curly braces to define a chord. Root note is 1 so a major triad is {1,5,8}. Chord definitions like this can also contain predefined chord names as part of the chord. Either this is poorly-explained, or I'm missing som...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)

Just tried using Polac VST to load Cheapo Amp (in order to control it through Polac MIDI In) and when I set the gain to 0, either through MIDI or by click-dragging the slider, I instead get full gain - same with toggling mute on/off (it'll cut the audio for a split-second, but then return to full vo...
