Re: Using different inputs from the audio interface?
Polac ASIO In is deprecated, you want Polac Audio In (which, perhaps confusingly in this context, will dynamically rename itself to "Polac ASIO In" once you drop it into the Machine View, as long as you're using the Polac ASIO driver in View > Preferences > Wave Output).

Re: Stealing Focus by Plugins
Hi, in the attachment you find a zip file containing an example video. (32bit versions used, Win10x64pro) It happens when more than one instances of the plugin are opened with GUI, in the moment of closing GUI, or another plugin (TT meter) and meldaplugins are opened. It does not happen when only o...

Re: Flickering drop-down menus in PVST & 64-bit VST2 plugins
i have this flickering in many other win32 apps since the latest windows update, even in stuff like notepad's search dialog etc.. I think it's a windows issue.. something changed.. I saw Herr's video and I've actually been noticing it in Chrome even without Buzz running. I'm still on Windows 7, so ...

Re: Flickering drop-down menus in PVST & 64-bit VST2 plugins
and then tried DiscoDSP OB-XD 1.5 (VST2) Wait ... you're right. I'd been using the TAL 64bit instruments as my testbed but just tried OBXD ( Windows 64bit/vst2 build ) and the preset menu doesn't appear at all/flickers super quickly so you barely see it. In this instance I know that it definitely u...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 11-Jul-2021)
I believe I can confirm HerrFornit 's issue. Either that, or I've found a separate issue. This is only with the latest pVST version. Adjusting any control on pretty much any non-JUCE VST immediately causes focus to drop, regardless of whether Prevent Focus Stealing is checked. This means it's imposs...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 11-Jul-2021)
thanx River Cricket for caring and clarification :) . I thought the embedded gui thing is needed for x64 plugins only. I should have installed x86 (vst2) versions of Melda only. I will check all that next week when I have access to my music pc again ;) Yeah, Embedded GUI is for certain plugins only...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 11-Jul-2021)
Hi polac. i have an issue with some vst. they steal the focus and buzz is disappearing into the background. Dont know if that is an issue of pvst at all. it happens with tischmeyers tt meter or the meldaplugins. its an older issue. perhaps it can be solved by an existing option of pvst? I use a han...

Re: Flickering drop-down menus in PVST & 64-bit VST2 plugins
Thanks, Polac!
It looks like pVST (no i) hasn't been updated, though, so VST effects still require the dreaded workaround - can confirm that VST instruments work fine though.

Re: Juce plugins in bridged mode (pvst)
I changed something with the loading of banks/programs, don't know if that helps with the problem(or breaks other things too). I'll do some testing. But my guess it must be something with the saving of projects, not loading, hmm. Yes, definitely it occurs when saving. Affected files are generally s...

Re: Juce plugins in bridged mode (pvst)
I think the issue is limited to 64-bit VST/VSTi's only. I also think I can now reliably reproduce the issue on my local machine, thanks to a particular project and a particular VST preset that, when loaded into this project, will fail to save properly. If polac or someone would like to hold my hand...

Re: IX Magic 1.16 - May 4th, 2021
Is it possible to have Magic route Poly Aftertouch (or Channel Aftertouch, for that matter) to PVST synths? I've got Magic controlling a pVST synth in a rudimentary fashion (Polac MIDI In > Polac MIDI Bus (right-click > attributes > mode = 0), Event type: PeerCtrl, Note = 'P), but aftertouch message...

Re: Juce plugins in bridged mode (pvst)
Giving this a bump - I had the "good fortune" of having a project open where I knew the bug was being triggered (you can tell by looking at the file size of the BMX - if the file is suspiciously small, it's a good bet you're not getting your VST settings saved). What I could discover: It's...

Re: Flickering drop-down menus in PVST & 64-bit VST2 plugins
Yes can reproduce it here, I guess it can be fixed by disable "embedded gui" in the vst3shell settings. I know there are some problems with plugins done with the JUCE framework. Disabling "Embedded GUI" leaves me in a situation where I cannot close the VST UI once it's been open...

Re: Peer machines not working with Buzz64
Magic should be fine as long as you're actually using the x64 version. If not, let me know of any problems. I'm almost certainly not, haha. I've been using pVST for years and still have to remind myself that the x86/x64 download options refer to the Buzz install, not your OS or the version of plugi...

Re: Peer machines not working with Buzz64
How did I miss those!? I'm so embarrassed, I think I must have just clicked every single Peermachine that didn't have x64 versions. I don't use Buzz x64 very often. Yeah, me neither. Only loaded it to check some issues I've found with Dexed, one of which happened to be the inability to contro...

Poking around in Buzz64 and having an absolute whale of a time trying to get the BTDSys Peer Machines to work. This is all on a fresh install of Buzz64, though with the caveat that Buzz32 is also on this computer. There are x64 versions for some machines working with Buzzx64 here: https://sourcefor...

Re: Juce plugins in bridged mode (pvst)
I've had this with Valhalla suite stuff and with Serum, which is a non-JUCE VST. So it's not JUCE-related, as far as I can tell, but it is plugin-specific - I think. I've never had the issue with Brainworx stuff, for instance, and to the best of my recollection it's never happened with Surge. I can...
