Donating as soon as a few more paychecks roll in
I'm a Buzz user of 15+ years, it has powered the majority of my music endeavors and made a producer out of me.
To say it means a lot to me is an understatement, and I really appreciate all you've done for us.

Re: Noob MIDI question…
Thanks for the reply! I appreciate you trying that out! I still haven't done a lot with Note Detector or IX, but as a guitar guy I can definitely see a lot of potential there. I've been using some older VSTs from Fretted Synth to process my guitar signal through ASIO in Buzz to some cool effects, bu...

Re: Noob MIDI question…
Hey, me again! So everything else worked great, as far as the Pattern XP Mod and exporting the track as MIDI data. But importing it into Power Tab is not working for some reason. As per the screenshot, it can't find any tracks inside the MIDI file. I confirmed that Buzz has exported the MIDI success...

Re: Noob MIDI question…
Excellent, thank you so much for the links and the info! I'm sure it will save me a whole bunch of time transcribing my Buzz songs for guitar. It's greatly appreciated!

Re: Noob MIDI question…
Finally go to the small sequence editor above the pattern editor, right click on the track and export to midi file!! Can someone please explain to me what's going on here with the "small sequence editor above the pattern editor"?? I could really realllly use an easy MIDI export for guitar...

Re: buzz podcast 2021
Hey guys! I always forget to check back in over here as often as I should. But yeah I'm the d00d who posted about making youtube videos about Buzz. I think the podcast is a fantastic idea! Keep in touch with me about that, I'll be down to make an appearance at some point. I think it would be a great...

Covering Buzz on my YouTube soon... Any news or updates I should know??
I just have a small channel, I'm not cool enough to have a crazy huge audience yet. But I'm a long-time Buzz user, and it also seems like a niche without much competition out there, so I thought it would be a cool idea to do a few videos on what Buzz is, why it's still relevant today, and how it can...

Extra 'Bleeps n Bloops' when track is stopped
Heyyy Buzz-Folk! Got a really random question this time... When the song is finished playing and Buzz switches it's "play mode" off automatically, sometimes you hear some extra cool noises generated by certain instruments and effects after the track is stopped. And sometimes, it sounds rea...

Re: Best way to record audio from an interface in Buzz?
Roboplanet is working for me again today! I tried to go there several times last night and it was down for some reason. Thanks for the links guys! Yeah I never thought to use the patch bay, but I'll be doing some experimenting with that for sure. I've collected all sorts of random freebie VSTs over ...

Re: What's your favourite filters and why?
For some reason I just stuck on the Mercury Filter early on using Buzz, and I haven't found one I like more. It's just simple and practical, but has the potential to get weird and noisy. I can use it like an EQ in my mixing chain or tweak the knobs for glitchy effects, really versatile. I like the G...

Re: Best way to record audio from an interface in Buzz?
Well fudge, it seems every recorder I have in Buzz right now either causes a crash, or straight up doesn't function. Cng, CyanPhase, WhiteNoise... All a dud. What makes it better, is that the machine download page doesn't seem to be working either?? (Hoping that's just a problem on my end) Anyone kn...

Re: Best way to record audio from an interface in Buzz?
That is quite helpful, thanks for the reply! Some interesting stuff in your signal chain I wouldn't have considered, especially the routing. Since I posted earlier I got Polac ASIO working, just trying different methods of recording now. I think CnG Recorder was the one I used to use, but it doesn't...

Best way to record audio from an interface in Buzz?
Hey folks, me again. Trying to record some guitar tracks into Buzz while my session is playing... I usually export the song and record overdubs in Audacity, but I'd like to do it inside Buzz this time. I remember forever ago I had a setup that would take my guitar input, run it through effects, and ...

Re: New Buzz still crashes over missing machines?
It's been in my Buzz effects folder for as long as I can remember! I actually didn't realize it was part of a big line of VSTs until I recently did some googling.
I'm using build 1503, x86. Windows 7 Home Premium, service pack 1.

Re: New Buzz still crashes over missing machines?
Thanks for the reply! I had all my VST effects in one folder, Gear/Vst/Effects, on my old computer where all my songs worked properly in new Buzz. Copied that folder to an external drive, and into my new install folder. So these songs are referencing the exact same plugins that I have, but being una...

New Buzz still crashes over missing machines?
From everything I've heard, new Buzz shouldn't crash when it can't find a machine, it should just put a placeholder there. And yet, here we are. This is all from trying to open BMXs I made on my old computer, a few certain machines I used heavily are now unable to be recognized when loading the file...

Re: Issues with new Polac - Can't access loaders or VSTs
Disregard! I figured out where I went wrong... I used the x64 Polac on x86 Buzz. Working properly now. I am still curious as to whether there is a way to force a re-scan of the Gear and VST folders. It seems like an option that should be more readily accessible.

Issues with new Polac - Can't access loaders or VSTs
Hey folks, I'm back with more technical issues! I've been out of the game since my last PC kicked the bucket, but now I'm back with a fresh install on a new system. I copied over my old Effects, Generators, and Vst folders, and was told on startup that I needed the newest version of Polac. So I down...

Info on HD Saturation and Arguru Inversor
Ope! It's me again. In my quest of mixing, there's a few machines I'm left wondering about... HD Saturation is a great machine and I use it in almost every track. I've found zero documentation on it though, just wondering what type of saturation it is... Doing my homework, most saturators out there ...
