Re: Buzz on Linux
Just use buze 0.5.2 or buze 0.5.9 or buze 0.8.9 or buzz 1.2 in linux via wine and all works perfectly. If you use Reaper as well, install it with ReaRouteASIO and use this sound device in buze/buzz audio output settings. Then you can additionally route audio outputs from buze/buzz to Reaper for addi...

How to send MTC (Midi Time Code) from buzz to Reaper
Ok, in my case it is not buzz but buze 0.5.2 (sometimes also buze 0.5.9 or buze 0.8.9). In forums there is mentioning of polac midi send, but I could not find any such machine. If I pvst for example, then directly after loading this pvst machine there is no option for any MTC settings. Any hints whi...

Re: IX Magic 1.15 - January 2nd, 2021
Yes, good idea, Magix is a very versatile machine, and the page system is great for small demos, we have to define a gear or two, one bmx with a basic gear and another one with more machines and more cpu usage. Peer machine don't use many cpu... I could not use Magic yet, because I could not find o...

Your music making process (magic, accumulator, split, peer x, tune)
How is your music making process with buzz (or buze 0.8.9 in my case, now). Thanks to buze 0.8.9 it seems in the title mentioned machines are working, thus can be used. I would like to dive a bit more in those machines and the possibilities with them. To give my intended discussion area I am thinkin...

Re: IX Magic 1.15 - January 2nd, 2021
It would be cool to create a collective book, every one could purpose a single pattern or a complex thing in one page, a global state, Magic is a modular pattern editor perfect to illustrate Buzz power. Let us start this collective book idea. Or did it start already? I would be happy even reading j...

What is best way of rendering results of finished .bmx to 24 bit .wav files, in most comfortable and powerful way?
How would an expert buzz, buze059, buze089 user convert the results to multiple 24 bit .wav files so those can be mixed elsewhere, e.g. in Reaper DAW? A second question: Is there a way of multi-rendering (to .wav) the inputs to master, not the outputs of certain machines? Thanks in advance, happy an...

Re: Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
For those interested there is also redux vsti, which is my favourite now, when used together with hackey trackey in Reaper. reaper + hackey trackey + redux = buzz fun outside of buzz (in best daw in my case, in Reaper) Today I discovered, saike, released a latest Amiga filter jsfx, very cool, if you...

oskari, do you allow vst shell to be published? so matilde can be used as vsti, e.g. inside Reaper?

probalocity jsfx does not work correctly in reaper
Dear IX, your probalocity jsfx, seems not to work, velocity and prob parameters show always 0, sound triggering is always passing, something seems to be wrong, just wanted to inform you quickly in the right place. Mixing of reaper and buzz forums is great sometimes. Does it work there?

Re: Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
https://xlutop.com/buzz/buzz.png I like in this buzz.png how you can see all in one view, sequencer, pattern editor, and some parameters on the right. Is this a special view in latest buzz or can we have this also in buze 0.5.9 or buze 0.8.9? From what I understood from those pictures you created a...

No problem, thanks for answering, it looks great, at least we know now, it is theoretically and practically possible. Maybe someone can recreate it in future.

Re: Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
Yes, but this is too far away from buzz workflow. hackey trackey lua plugin for Reaper is actually perfect, only there is no Matilde tracker like sampler which could be triggered with it.

Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
Wondering if it is theoretically possible to make a vsti version of Matilde tracker? It's source* is known anyway. It could work as follows. Drag and drop samples onto it, they are auto-sorted alphabetically, you can reorder them, if you want. So each sample content and its number is available to th...

Re: IX Magic - Updated Jan 19th 2019
Crashing buze 0.5.9 in wine in ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Opened normally in buze 0.8.9 in wine in ubuntu in 14.04 LTS. But usually I prefer the older 0.5.9 version as it has same simplicity of original buzz. Not sure what is causing this crash? Probably there is no way around this? Apart from this, thanks f...

Re: Exporting entire song as one .txt file, possible?
Yes, org-mode user here. Indeed having .org file representation could be great, each pattern a topic, so you could even move around patterns, if there would be a way backwards, from .txt/.org to .xm for example.
