Re: Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
For those interested there is also redux vsti, which is my favourite now, when used together with hackey trackey in Reaper. reaper + hackey trackey + redux = buzz fun outside of buzz (in best daw in my case, in Reaper) Today I discovered, saike, released a latest Amiga filter jsfx, very cool, if you...

oskari, do you allow vst shell to be published? so matilde can be used as vsti, e.g. inside Reaper?

probalocity jsfx does not work correctly in reaper
Dear IX, your probalocity jsfx, seems not to work, velocity and prob parameters show always 0, sound triggering is always passing, something seems to be wrong, just wanted to inform you quickly in the right place. Mixing of reaper and buzz forums is great sometimes. Does it work there?

Re: Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
https://xlutop.com/buzz/buzz.png I like in this buzz.png how you can see all in one view, sequencer, pattern editor, and some parameters on the right. Is this a special view in latest buzz or can we have this also in buze 0.5.9 or buze 0.8.9? From what I understood from those pictures you created a...

Re: Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
No problem, thanks for answering, it looks great, at least we know now, it is theoretically and practically possible. Maybe someone can recreate it in future.

Re: Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
Yes, but this is too far away from buzz workflow. hackey trackey lua plugin for Reaper is actually perfect, only there is no Matilde tracker like sampler which could be triggered with it.

Matilde tracker, as vsti, theoretically possible?
Wondering if it is theoretically possible to make a vsti version of Matilde tracker? It's source* is known anyway. It could work as follows. Drag and drop samples onto it, they are auto-sorted alphabetically, you can reorder them, if you want. So each sample content and its number is available to th...

Crashing buze 0.5.9 in wine in ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Opened normally in buze 0.8.9 in wine in ubuntu in 14.04 LTS. But usually I prefer the older 0.5.9 version as it has same simplicity of original buzz. Not sure what is causing this crash? Probably there is no way around this? Apart from this, thanks f...

Re: Exporting entire song as one .txt file, possible?
Yes, org-mode user here. Indeed having .org file representation could be great, each pattern a topic, so you could even move around patterns, if there would be a way backwards, from .txt/.org to .xm for example.

Best way to add groove/swing to your tracks?
I hope this place can give a nice overview of available options over time. Goal is to find out the best sounding and easiest to setup option which works reliably.
It should work with any machines, so probably it should be a global setting or method.

Regarding recording longer automations without recording...
... into original 1bar pattern? How? Example: I have one bar pattern, e.g. 303 bassline pattern. Now I want to automate the cutoff in realtime, e.g. up to line 1024 in sequencer. What is the best way of accomplishing this in buze 0.5.9 UPDATE: After reading a bit in this forum I can answer my questi...

Re: Beta test please? (new vintage tube EQ)
Tested yesterday with my not soo good headphones and could hear great sound changes, even with this not so optimal headphone. Thanks a lot for this effect, respects, very fine and powerful changes in the sound. If it sounded even with those headphones so impressive, it will be phenomenal with better...

Re: utrk2 crashing buze 0.5.9 in wine
There are startup configurations of buze 0.8.x that behave essentially the same as 0.5.x by having default pattern configurations. That's the way I was using 0.8.x until it became unbearable to keep using (due to crashing without hintings of why..making it hard for Calvin to track what was happenin...

Re: utrk2 crashing buze 0.5.9 in wine
My method of adding machines to buze 0.5.9 or any buzz, is starting from zero, if I need anything I will put it in the generators or effects folder. Usually I add stuff people recommend here in the forums. Or I hear and like something from a developer, so add a few more stuff from same developer. In...

Re: utrk2 crashing buze 0.5.9 in wine
A few posts earlier* I wrote why buze 0.5.9 is 2:0 ahead against buzz 1.2 (BETA Oct 5 2000, 1:19:41 build) which I found in a package "buzzmini", at least both work in wine. Better than having no buzz at all in wine in ubuntu. buze 0.5.9 allows ASIO routing to another jack app, in my case Reaper. Wo...

Some presets for BTDSys Pulsar, using only internal waves. BTDSys Pulsar.prs.xml.zip Thanks for sharing, it seems I can not load them into Polac VSTi Loader v1.1.9.9.1 in buze 0.5.9 in wine in ubuntu 14.04 LTS? Is it possible sharing presets as .prs also? My presets have this non-xml format. Or are...

Re: Finding best WineASIO routing settings from buze 0.5.9 t
For me buzz or buze are same, especially if you stick to buze 0.5.9, where sequencer view is like in buzz. Ok, buze - buzz: 2 - 0, you have seen probably in my other topics, for wine users.

Finding best WineASIO routing settings from buze 0.5.9 to...
... to Reaper. Now finally after succeeding in routing WineASIO from buze 0.5.9 to Reaper in ubuntu 14.04 LTS in wine it is time to find which preferences and settings should be used to achieve best sound quality. The goal is not to 'waste' any sound quality unnecessarily. I have to experiment a bit...
