Re: High CPU on mouse movement

I've noticed similar behaviour with the touchpad on my laptop. When I use a USB mouse plugged into the laptop (even plugged in through a secondary monitor), things are much smoother in Buzz.

Of course it would be WDE who patched the MD2 src into a Buzz FX machine

MilkDrop in Buzz?

Anyone ever thought to make a machine that will playback Winamp's amazing MilkDrop Visualization preset within Buzz? I know back in Old Buzz Days, Overloader had the option to "Output To Winamp" so that you could have Visualizations sync'd to your Buzz Tunes. But if there was a Buzz Machine that pla...

Re: Note Detector

OK, so I'm still trouble shooting my Guitar -> Note Detector -> Magic -> VST signal chain. Magic has simplified my process (thanks IX  ), but the notes being sent to the VST synths via Magic are still being cut. So I drummed up another "Troubleshooting" project to isolate things. I used Primi...

Re: GuitarChordBox

A thought I had today (but would probably complicate things quite a bit): alternate tunings. Drop D is popular & I know a lot of guitarists who enjoy experimenting with some pretty exotic tunings. Again. probably complicates this wonderful machine way too much - unless there was some user-editable C...

Re: Note Detector

Split needs an update. So many things to do and only one me. :( We can only do what we can, IX. And you do a lot for Buzz & the Buzz community. Don't beat yourself up :D If I knew more about coding beyond: 10 Print "Candle loves to Rok with Buzz!" 20 Goto 10 I'd love to help out. But, Buzz isn't co...

Re: Note Detector

Sorry, I was tired last night & got my explanation a little jumbled. Note Detector sends the MIDI Note Data. Split "translates" it to Buzz Note Data (Peer Note). The STS-33 (& all of HG Fortune's amazing VST-i's, unfortunately :( ) do not accept MIDI Note Data. If they did, I'm not sure how it might...

Re: Note Detector

Me again, sorry… So I'm still playing around with my "Live" Buzz setup. I am trying to get my guitar to control a number of VST synths. Of course, I'm using Note Detector to make this work. The problem I'm having is getting the VSTs to sustain their notes when triggered by notes from the Note...

Re: Noob MIDI question…

OK, next Noob MIDI question… So, I've been setting up my new MIDI Foot Controller to control a bunch of things in Buzz (mostly IX PatchBay & the Mobius VST Looper). I've discovered that controling either depends on which is selected in the MIDI Focus Machine drop down menu. Is there a way to ...

Re: Timeline

You can change the timecode in Audacity, HerrFornit. There's a bunch of formats to choose from. I have my copy of Audacity set for SMPTE - i.e. HH:MM:SS.FF (frames) - again, because I'm used to it & I'm sometimes processing audio for video projects I'm working on.

Re: IX Magic - Updated May 2nd, 2020

Well, fortunately it hasn't happened again. And I've backed-up my setups to XML so if it does I don't have to start from scratch. Again, that's an awesome feature. Magic is so awesome. It's allowed me to setup my new MIDI foot controller exactly the way I want. I'm essentially using it as a MIDI to ...

Re: Timeline

Love it :) Feature request: A way to specify the timecode format used (examples: SMPTE, HH:MM:SS:MS, MM:SS:MS (Default), etc…). Perhaps selectble in Machine Attributes? With my background in Video Production, I seem to relate best to SMPTE timecode. But I'm sure other people prefer other formats. Gr...

Re: IX Magic - Updated May 2nd, 2020

No, the only change from one to the other was unplugging my laptop from my Audio Interface (USB) & changing Buzz's Audio Output from ASIO to MME.

As for Magic, I only added pages, sequences, steps & events. I didn't touch the resources page, iirc.

Re: IX Magic - Updated May 2nd, 2020

Sorry :( On the plus side, I've started backing up the XML setup I re-configured in Magic so if this happens again I should be able to just load the last saved XML version. That's a real handy feature 8-)

Feature request: any way to put links in the text? Not sure if it's possible since it's an RTF file, but links would be amazing.

I did a quick look online & found this:

RTF Hperlink Syntax Discussion

Not sure if it helps or hinders…
