Re: Happy New Buzz Year 2013!! :)

Adding my new year best wishes for all buzzers. May you have all the time in the world to create great tunes for me to listen to (I'm slightly selfish ;P).

Re: Problems with long wav-samples and Matilde

Might be easier if you attach a .bmx so people can see which versions of machines you are using? What with all the different versions of things it's sometimes just a case of an old machine clashing.

Re: Funkyverb peaks?

Hey man, tested your .bmx on my rig and I don't see any of the CPU usage you did (see attached screenshot). All of the funkyverbs stay at less than 1% CPU usage for the whole song.

That's about the limit of my ability to debug this, anyone else got any ideas?

P.S. sounds like a cool tune!

From what I've listened to it on Soundcloud it sounds really great mate. Interested to poke around your .bmxs tonight, thanks heaps for including the source. :)

This list managed to make me feel buzzed while studying some research material on clays/soil, so I reckon mission accomplished! Nice work all :)

Help recording noodlings?

Hey all, this may be a really stupid question, but I can't seem to figure out the technical aspects of it so I'm turning to the one place I know will have people that can show me the way. :) The setup is this: say you have buzz open with your favourite generator or vst or whatever open. And say your...

May I suggest that people get the excellent tweakbench suite of VSTs if they are after awesome sounds for this kind of thing: http://www.tweakbench.com/

Not that I know of, but it's a fairly simple matter to click the machine, press enter, then hit ctrl+enter. Three buttons, not too bad?

Re: Buzz On Mac and Arm?

Buzz on a tablet would absolutely phenomenal. While I was travelling around Thailand last month, we were travelling in a public van in the middle of nowhere, and the guy next to me was using his iPad and a music composition/tracker program to mix up song on the journey. Seemed a very natural way to ...

Re: Wireless question

The 'wires' here aren't anything to do with wi-fi signal or mobile phones. A 'wire' in this case is literally just the little graphic indication that a machine is connected to an effect. So 'wireless effects' just means you've turned off that graphic. Sometimes wires in buzzmachines get a little cha...

I reckon that'd be a really good idea actually, that way maybe we can get a discussion going on what you've done (heaps), what's effective (all of it) and generally how cool it is that you do these things (very cool). :D

Re: Vocals in buzz

If the vocal is very long I use Fuzzpilz Inp to be able to star playing the song anywhere and having the vocal played in sync with the position, no need to replay at the start of the pattern to hear it. That sounds really useful, I can imagine it would get old having to trigger the pattern to get t...

Re: Chior equivalent .. some kind of tunes section?

buzztunes.org is a great place to post your buzztunes. ;) It's crazy I never use it. Other people's mods are how I learnt to use trackers when I was a kid.. When you have no prior knowlegde of how things get made, seeing examples can be essential. Absolutely. There are machines and techniques that ...

Re: outro [critique requested]

Ah, I see now! That's really informative, both of you. And the triangles, that's a really great trick, I'll try and keep that in mind. Maybe could be the basis for an addition to the buzzwiki? I'm guessing that others would also be curious when opening up some of the .bmxs at buzztunes and seeing th...
