Re: ???

Could be an interface issue, I used a cheap usb/midi interface and had the same problem with reaper , switched to a presonus one and now it works perfectly.

Matilde 2 not working on win 10

My old laptop finally died and I had to get a new one with windows 10 (something I had been avoiding for a while) reinstalled buzz and after a bit of fiddling about everything works fine except Matilde 2 which I tend to use a lot. I tried dependency walker and its showing a lot of missing stuff. Am ...

Re: patternist: trigger patterns with notes

Been playing with this today. Simple but effective, works well for me as I'm writing a lot of loopy techno at the moment. Thanks for this.

Re: buzz on two displays

Sorry for the slow reply, been snowed under. Like xenobioz says. I had buzz one one screen with a bunch of gens/fx dragged over to the other screen. I think you can stretch buzz over the two screens but it's the same view.

Re: buzz on two displays

I have used two displays a lot in the past but I had buzz on one and all my machines open on the other. Don't know if it's possible to have the two different views visible at the same time though.

Re: What´s your reason to use Buzz

I used to use octamed years ago. When I switched to PC the first tracker I tried was buzz. Nothing since tracker or saw has ever come close to buzz for flexibility. The only other software I use is reaper for mastering and recording guitars and recently caustic 3 for making loops and ideas when I'm ...

Re: What about a new Contest ?

I think Matilde only as a restriction is a good idea. I tried using qsamo the other day and thought it too powerful/versatile.

I like the start and end with the sine sample. Four minutes is good too.

Buzz has unlimited audio mangling abilities. I say apply effects liberally, you can never have too many.

Re: What about a new Contest ?

How about a restricted pallet . http://www.audiobulb.com/ these guys have a project called root of sine , all tracks are made with a one second 440 Hz sine wave sample.
