Modular synthesis versus Buzz
I think that is an unfair comparison. But they both have similar ways of working building blocks. I recently bought the Polyend Tracker. Some of the Buzz tech in this thing. The bios can be updated by anyone. I think it is cool but as a portable instrument that can be powered by usb who knows

Was there not a program where u could see what buzz was loading plugins and so forth on startup. Or is there anyway to create a log of startup. I must have something...

Re: Handheld tracker hardware
Not often i treat myself to new music gear but couldn't resist the polyend tracker. I went wild and bought the Arti Orbiphone and the behringer td6 as well. There is something about that 606 sound i like so much. I will be trying out the polyend with buzz. I was making music in my car sitting next t...

Re: Polyend tracker
Very true but i was thinking more in a live setup the polyend being the brain behind it. Something i can rely on and use to do real time changes which the polyend can do without to much hysteronics. I miss playing live i come from a guitar/bass background but have never played an electronic gig. Som...

Cherry Modular
I have been trying out cherry modular. What i can make out it would change they way you work in Buzz. It has cv and midi where cv can be midi and midi can be cv. Some of the more esoteric stuff in buzz would work well in this. Hope to discover more of this in the following weeks

Re: off topic - music videos
I have been using the video generator from Reaper to make videos for my songs. It is just pictures that i am using different presets. You can make ur own efx if ur good at coding. Tracks are Dodgy Roland, The Nuclear Art and Tr-ot https://youtu.be/8gBT2aktA5k https://youtu.be/NzxwlVBtXdM https://you...
Re: Core i7
It is not so much synths as efx that takes up the majority of cpu cycles in my tunes.
Re: Buzz 64
It is amazing how buzz has become what it is today. When i first used this program i was using a cyrix 400 256mb win 95 wondering after adding a few things why everything was stuttering. The infector was my fav now it,s incredibly detailed sound librarys and synths. Buzz 64 is more for sample based ...
