Re: I tried to answer this myself so I wouldn't look foolish

At this point I just go back and try every now and then to see if I can figure it out, but I can't seem to. Maybe it's an ASIO4ALL problem or something, I don't know. Oh well.

Re: I tried to answer this myself so I wouldn't look foolish

One instance per track, each connected to a single gain going to the master, one more connected directly to the master with the start and stop patterns, and I'm still getting blanks.

I give up. Maybe it will be a native implementation in a future update.

Buzz workflow: tips and tricks

I didn't find a thread like this in the search, so I thought it would be good to have a "share your tips and tricks for streamlining workflow in Buzz" thread.

So share your tips and tricks for streamlining workflow in Buzz. Please. :)

Re: I tried to answer this myself so I wouldn't look foolish

OK, tried doing it again. One MTW machine attached to the last effect in each chain, one attached to the master, and a sequence for one of the MTW machines with two patterns - one at the beginning of the song to start recording and one at the end to stop. Pressed play and went to do something else. ...

Re: Would you pay for commercial Buzz?

FWIW, I would pay to keep Buzz alive (and have already done so to an extent). I think Buzz deserves more attention, and should be just as popular as Ableton Live, Reaper or Renoise. I'm willing to bet that a Kickstarter project to take Buzz to the next level would succeed with minimal difficulty. Of...

Re: How did you get your nickname?

deus and diabolus are Latin, but many of the European members of this board have already figured that out. Combined, it's like a yin/yang concept. It was great for not having to think of new nicknames all the time, but not so great for rolling off the tongue, so as of January 11 of this year (my 40t...

Yes they were, and I have discovered from variations on my original search that I wasn't the only one having this issue with Windows 8.

Re: New laptop, can't save tracks anymore

UPDATE: Figured out a cheap fix. I just copied the Songs directory into a subfolder of My Documents (copied so I have backups). Enh. It works.

New laptop, can't save tracks anymore

My previous laptop suffered a CPU socket failure and I had to replace it, so I've gone from Windows 7 32-bit to Windows 8 64-bit. I copied my old Buzz directory over from the old hard drive and did the setup, but for some reason, I can't save any tracks now (it says it's unable to find them). I had ...

Re: MIDI keyboard and Buzz - via VSTI only?

BONUS QUESTION: I have noticed that when changing presets in a generator, it resets the MIDI Channel so I have to reconfigure it each time. Is this just because it's a preset option or could this be a glitch?

ADDENDUM: Maybe this is just in the case of FSM Infector.

I tried to answer this myself so I wouldn't look foolish.

I'm not having any success and I'm becoming frustrated, so I'll just out and ask. How, exactly, do you connect Sgorpi's MTW machine in order for it to work correctly? I tried connecting the last effect in each machine's chain to it (which is what the readme file in the original ZIP implies), and tha...

Is there any other method to unpack .drumkit files besides that program listed above? I tried running it but it doesn't load.

Transitional sounds

What are some good synths for making transitional sounds (i.e. the "whoosh" sound you often hear in dance tracks between phrases)?

Re: VST feedback on song load - is anyone else having this i

Well after a lil thinking after my last post I repaired your file. Somewhere in pattern you have faulty but invisible parameter, probably you did some midi slider etc mistake movement which you corrected by erasing but it still expist inside of pattern. Some time ago I discovered that if I record c...

what´s happening there? that feedback is a real mean one.
EXACTLY. It's just the VST machine with a simple delay into JedShivaMeter. Every time I put something between that piano and the Master now, it does that.

VST feedback on song load - is anyone else having this issue

I'm not sure exactly when it started (I know it wasn't always there), but recently I've been having this problem with at least one VST feeding back when I have an effect in the chain between it and the mixer. I don't know if it's the VST, the VST wrapper, or something else. Attached find an affected...
