Re: XI Split issue
Hey! Sorry for the confusion, I should have specified I'm using Split for just output . So I'm just trying to have two layers, each sending peer data to one track in a destination machine with a hard-coded midi channel already set on that track (for example Polac VSTi). Not a huge issue really as I ...

XI Split issue
I'm trying to use Split to control two midi channels. One exclusively on track 0 (channel 1) and the other exclusively on track 1 (channel 2). For some odd reason split (version 1.08c) will not obey the "matched" or "single" track settings and track 0 will also trigger track 1 (o...

Re: Old BMX files, missing patterns and sequences
This has to do with PatternXP versions usually. First check to see if you have the Oskari version of PatternXP and only use that. When it translates to a new pattern editor from the default one like the WDE or Chahur one the data does not always end up in an interchangeable format. Next thing I woul...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 07-Jul-2022)
The global preset behavior is a bit strange at times. I like how it doesn't reset if you change a parameter as it makes it easier to overwrite the current preset after some tweaking, but I think it should always reset on song load. As it is one needs to trigger a unique preset followed by another on...

Re: Modern Pattern Editor
Ok I found out what does it. It's in the clone machine function somewhere. Steps: - Add any generator - Switch it over to MPE (I'm using Pattern XP mod by default so this might be important) - Clone the machine from the machine view - On instance 1, Ctrl+backspace to bring up pattern select dialog -...

machine muting info
When does it occur? I noticed that some old Generators it will stop processing when their's either no audio or you stop processing via an effect. I tested Rout 808 / 909 and Jeskola Bass and they both mute when I turn off the clock in a custom Reaktor effect, but if I connect a delay or some effect ...

Re: Modern Pattern Editor
Hey thanks for the update and info. Nice. I got a crash today using the old version and it persisted when switching to the new one. Context: Probably the only time I tried to gang up two machines in one editor. Both were Spire VSTi instances so I assume it has something to do with interpreting data ...

Re: Modern Pattern Editor
Love the look of this thing and can't wait to use it as my primary editor. Wee issues I ran into: - The status bar has no context readout. For example when loading a VST the Default editor will say "midi message" when an "09" is present in the track command column. You can have t...

Re: PatternXP RE
I've had some intermittent crashes with PatternXP RE when undoing a lot of changes to a pattern. I can't pin down exactly how many undo's will crash it, but I know it's a lot, like over 100. Is there a cap on number of undo's supported?

Re: Weird Documentation or am I a moron?
After messing around with a hex editor and trying to make sense of this I think I found the issue. Command 60 and 64 are both pointed to the same text which is at hex offset 14364 and reads "Jmp -> (smp)". So no way to hack it to remind me I'm using subticks unless I can remove whatever is...

Good way to do wireless connections?
Since Aux sends are broken in new Buzz, is there any good way to do the equivalent? Mostly just looking to clean up side-chains in large songs. I use pluggo-send and return right now but it's a bit clunky. Perhaps there is a VST that does a better job?

You might achieve similar thing using current template system. For example: Add Qsamo Select columns you want to see in PatternXP Go back to machine view, select Qsamo and create template Now if you drag&drop Qsamo template you see those columns you wanted. I added source if someone wants to fu...

Polac adapter custom midi RPN/NRPN
Has anyone made use of the custom midi messages for internal midi sends? I can see it working with midi-monitoring but Reaktor can't really do anything useful with it afaik. Looking through the help file I don't see anything that makes just makes the track command column into a second param column w...

Clipboard Manager
For work I've been using CopyQ as my clipboard manager and it's been a huge improvement to my workflow. https://github.com/hluk/CopyQ Now I keep missing it when I use the pattern editor and do a lot of copypasta stuff. Maybe a job for patternXP mod? It would kind of be like a phrase library that you...

Oh man, so ready to go all in on this now that I can use the enter key to go back and forth. I found a wee bug when toggling different hint modes (note and midi specifically). I'm on Windows 7 and have .NET 4.6.1 mse-bug.jpg Also notice it's a bit slow for me when I have the midi hints on; stopping ...

Re: Mixers/visual audio analysis tools
I still use LD Mixer. I love it - tho the only update I would love to see with it is the implimentation of the modern Buzz multi I/O. But other than that it does what I need & the # of tracks is easily expandable. I use mvmeter2, love the old school VU meter look (I'm sucker for Analogue style ...

Re: Timeout to give Polac some serious damn love
I would very easily say that as odd as it is, Buzz has the best VST support of any host period (I've used them all...past and present from acid to live to bitwig to cubase to renoise to whatever...). The backwards and forwards compatibility is honestly RIDICULOUS. Use any other host and you'll quic...
