Buzz is a great way to relax in the evening. I'm lucky I get to do that more than just once every two weeks though! :D

Cheers!

Re: .NET for Linux = Buzz on Linux?

Yes, I can confirm that. I installed 1495 in my Ubuntu 14.04 with no problems, but it did not run unfortunately... :(

Re: New machine: Snowglobe MIDI Manager

Couldn't make it work. Clean Buzz install (1498) solved the issue though. Sorry I missed your patch.
It is working perfectly now.

It is a great machine! Thanks!

Re: New machine: Snowglobe MIDI Manager

Red "CRASHED" label on machine as soon as it is added. I have the DLL in my Generators folder and using Buzz version 1498 (x86) on Windows 7 Professional, .NET installed, updated, all other machines, songs, etc. working fine. Anyone having the same issue? The idea is great, i'm agog to try...

Hi,

Re: Peer Machines controlling VST/i s

Thank for the explanation. I was also having a hard time to do the exact same thing. I wanted to use Peer LFO to control two parameters of the VST but could not get my head around how to do it. So, if the controls are assigned per-track that means we can not control more than 8 VST params with Peer ...

Re: Using 'Jeskola Live' machine

Definitely a project that should go on. I would love to take it, but I have just installed Visual Studio to start thinking about learning how to program a Buzz machine. It is probably going to take some time till I can do anything useful. Thanks anyway for taking the time to gather all the informati...

Re: Using 'Jeskola Live' machine

Hi, I tried giving it a shot sometime ago but was kind to hard to figure out. I know there are some hints in the changelog (just CTRL+F and search for "Live"): http://jeskola.net/buzz/beta/files/changelog.txt I know it can control patterns that share a common name across different instrume...

Re: PyBuzz and full python install

Hi there, Adding my own reply for the record. To get access to a full python distribution you have to copy the folders from the Python distribution to Buzz root folder. For example, if we install the Python distribution in say C:\Python27, then we have to copy the folders that are inside (\DLL,\site...

PyBuzz and full python install

Hi, I have installed PyBuzz and it works fine with the python modules and example script shipped with it. Now I just installed a full Python 2.7 (the latest stable in http://www.python.org) but cannot get PyBuzz to 'see' it. Any pointers? I have already tried copying the Python27.lib that I found in...

Re: Can't load Matilde Tracker 2&3

Hi there, After searching for some related topics here in the forums I managed to solve the problem. I'm posting my own answer here in case it may be helpful to others going through the same issues. (1) I downloaded the software "depends.exe" from http://www.dependencywalker.com and ran on...

Re: Can't load Matilde Tracker 2&3

Hi there. I am having exactly the same problem here. Unfortunately the download link above for "msvc.rar" does not seem to be working. Can anybody else point me to what I could do?

I greatly appreciate any help. Cheers!

Re: CPU Monitor question... (total vs overhead)

Not quite sure, but maybe there is something wrong with the displayed value in your build. For a specific song here, it shows for instance 22% total and 2.3% overhead. Hovering the mouse pointer over the value gives me the following tip regarding the meaning of each: Total: "Total audio engine ...

Re: outro [critique requested]

Yes, you're right. That's exactly what cheapo amp does, it controls volume - up and down. Essential for dynamics. I don't think there is any secret way in using it, but if you learn some nifty trick about it, let me know. :D You're right too, you could use the master volume for the same thing, but I...
