Tracing the path(s) of the letters on a qwerty-keyboard might give you a clue.

It crashed if Documents/Buzz/MDB/mdb.json.zip was corrupted.

Multi-threaded is the statically linked (.lib) CRT library.

It works if you switch to static linking (I think this is how I fixed it too):

General->Use MFC in a Static Library
Code Generation->Multi-threaded (/MT)

Upload the source code too so I can try to make it work.

Sounds like there's a buffer overflow somewhere in the plugin and window's Data Execution Prevention kills it.

Only about $20 more needed.

And I still think it's a new thing.

Please update http://jeskola.net/buzz/mdb/mdb_machines.zip directly and make a changelog (it will be shown to users). I already removed machines that didn't work and added some so it's not the same as the giant machine collection anymore.

There are way too many technical problems with that. This is something that I can do in reasonable amount of time.

The database is going to be updated, but not that often.

I created this based on the "giant machine collection" on buzzmachines.com. I'm planning to use it in buzz in the future but maybe someone else will find it useful too.
