Might be that, but he'll have to go through folders and folders, I, myself get lost when I open folders upon folders full of files

Sorry for reviving this thread. But I have a reason for doing it.
You all mentioned paid recovery software, but I want to recommend a free one that does a pretty good job - SalvageData. It's easy to use and finds most of the lost data. Every time I used it, I was satisfied with it.

Easiest solution is to reinstall Buzz all together, this might solve your issue.
The other way is to Verify your game's folder for any corrupted game files. Some game clients have built-in verification tools.
