Re: AudioBlock
This is going to come in handy! Importing stem tracks has always been a pain, even with the AudioTrack plugin. Now I can do all kinds of remixing and whatnot.

Re: AMD Rysen worth it
Ok, I got my system up and running. Wonder what a good metric is for testing machine load? I might try to write a sequel to "FTL" which was kind of a load testing song. Something like 80 instances of Oatmeal.

Re: AMD Rysen worth it
I'm getting my new Ryzen system in pieces. Just waiting on the power supply... :? :? :? :( :( :( :? :? :? :( :( :( My proc is the 2600, which seemed to be the best bang for the buck right now (13k passmark score). Should be over twice as fast as my current proc (1090T) Got 32GB of DDR4 and a 4TB HDD...

Could just be a problem with this VST, but I wasn't able to load the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of it in Buzz

I just love it so much.
Why? The filter models are so cool, and have such unusual names.

Re: Buzz on Linux in 2020
I will say I'm getting some really bad visual glitches that make it very hard to use it efficiently. Again, hopefully someone with more persistence can come though and refine this procedure.

Buzz on Linux in 2020
I posted this in the Buzzers facebook group, but I figured I should post here too now that the board is working again. I was able to get the current build of Jeskola Buzz running on Linux... with sound output. This was done on Fedora Linux, but should work on most Linux distros. Install wine Install...

Re: Buzz in Linux.. again.
Haven't tried recently, but was unsuccessful last time. You're probably better off running Buzz in a Windows virtual machine though. As a Linux professional, there is nothing I want more than to get completely off Windows, and Buzz is essentially the only thing holding me back. I'm also closely watc...

Re: MIDI selector [idea]
I don't think that does what I need it to.
Maybe a picture would explain it better...
Edit: I didn't put any split functionality in it because the split functionality exists elsewhere, e.g. IX Split, Polac VST

MIDI selector [idea]
I have this idea for a machine, maybe it exists already (?), or perhaps just an idea at this point. I use Buzz for live performance and this one thing would make my life so much easier. What it does: 1) You supply it a single MIDI channel input (for keyboard) or a set of MIDI channels (for multiple ...

Re: recommend data recovery software
I use Dropbox with the packrat 30 day revision history. I also keep my songs in versioned revisions. Every time I save it as v2, v3, v4, etc.
Good luck on recovering your files. I would feel lost if my Buzz collection died.

Re: Is anybody using surface pro as a Buzzcomputer?
A touchscreen works with Buzz (I've tried it and you can push buttons and the menu and stuff...), but yeah, not really designed for that so you'll need a keyboard as well.

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)
Expected behavior would be to load up with a dummy channel selected or crash the plugin or something instead of the whole song. Any way to make that happen? :D Have you tried to change ASIO latency , I have thousands crashes with my E-MU ASIO drivers sometimes.(Win 7 64bit) I didn´t try latest Pola...
